Why is no one talking about Li Qingyun who lived for over 250 years? (1678-1933) A recent and documented case of a Taoist adept who conquered aging with herbs and exercises including Neidan. He proves by his longevity that the answer to aging is not to be found in the laboratory or scientific studies. He practiced what can be referred to as "the yoga of reversal". (one description). The yoga of reversal (Neidan) depends on stimulating and activating the glands in the brain and creating new brain cells by chanelling base energies in the pelvis into more refined energies that are circulated throughout the body.

16:20 - absorbance at delta_{234} - want to investigate this more No one in aging still wants to try deuterated PUFAs - these models need to be generalized beyond just maze tests, striatal dopamine, and neuroprostanes/isoprostanes... substitution at bis-allyic position is MOST impt

Thanks for uploading these videos for us. They are going to be of historical interest, reveal to future generations the folly of yet another foolish attempt to cure aging, which has failed throughout millennia... 4 years later and we still do not have a cure of aging... still aging... slim hips rounding out with visceral fat, foreheads expand as hairlines retreat...

1:21 (???) - Hallmarks of aging - PubMed id 23746838, Lopez-Otin et al 2013 - wtf ? - the list of hallmarks in the publication is completely different: 1. genomic instability, 2. telomere attrition, 3. epigenetic alterations, 4. loss of proteostasis, 5. deregulated nutrient sensing, 6. mitochondrial dysfunction, 7. cellular senescence, 8. stem cell exhaustion, and 9. altered intercellular communication. Where did she dig out her list of 10 hallmarks ?

It is INCREDIBLY flawed to take the “what’s the likelihood?” approach on this. You cannot start with a world record breaker and ask what the likelihood is. Somebody has to be the oldest person ever. You can take any newborn baby and the probability that that particular baby will not break the world record for oldest person, is almost infinity. But what you cannot do, is to know who holds the title and ask what the likelihood of all this would be.

If you see her the last few years of her life and you know what someone looks like in their 90s then you would know she was much older then that. Why can’t we test the bodies?

Dr. Lingner, you speak in your Q&A Session that there is not evidence of Telomeres end repair. Can you speak to the experience that Liz Parish has had with her genetic therapy that seems to have supported Telomeres repair or Telomere length growth.

Dr Sen has discovered an amazing therapy...he should have been given much more time to talk about this ..he seems to be rushing ...did u not give him an adequate amount of time for this revolutionary discovery that bypasses the need for viral delivery in vitro stem cell therapies ... which can lead to adverse reactions and even cancer

I like vadim. He is very skeptic about the sens approach (which is fine, he's got a point) but he doesnt have to be insulting like that oxford professor Blakemore. In my opinion that Blakemore guy was disgusting in his debate with Aubrey (its just my opinion)

You overestimate your audience unless they all had a degree in biology because don't understand a lot of the words/abbreviations :(
@elinope47453 жыл бұрын
There are tons of videos on KZbin, the audience decides which videos they will watch. Khan Academy as well as several Ivy league universities post videos on biology, microbiology, pathology, anatomy and organic chemistry, all of which you should be familiar with if you wish to understand this stuff better.

She sure sounds like she knows what she is talking about. But now 2 years later & nobody else is talking / researching her wonder molecule that she presents. The Nuchido website sells NR supplements. Hmm

hmm. i'm suspicious of her claims. It's now 2 years later & nothing out there about this "molecule". She says big pharma does it wrong, but her tiny startup does it right. You go to their site and they are selling NR with herbs.

I love it😂 the ones who are saying it’s not possible are the ones that are already old and dying so they think they are out of time and are saying what’s the point just give up😂 sorry maybe your as good as dead but the rest of the world sure as hell arnt
@harrisongalvin4 жыл бұрын
So what honestly would be a realistic time line, because if we can all live as long as we’d like, the world would progress much faster and everyone will eventually see every point of view of world issues and racism homophobia and issues with religions and conflicts will slowly disappear

A presentation of a targeted approach to a very complicated subject of the lipid protection from oxidative damage. Sounds amazing, but by substituting of only 1-15% % of unsaturated lipids by deuterated analogues .can protect cells from lipid oxidation.. Moreover this works not only on cells , but also on the animal models, related to some of the nasty human diseases. It was pleasure to hear so complex, but still simple way of potential cure for some of this diseases. And additional bonus - an extension of the life span of different organisms....
