A presentation of a targeted approach to a very complicated subject of the lipid protection from oxidative damage. Sounds amazing, but by substituting of only 1-15% % of unsaturated lipids by deuterated analogues .can protect cells from lipid oxidation.. Moreover this works not only on cells , but also on the animal models, related to some of the nasty human diseases. It was pleasure to hear so complex, but still simple way of potential cure for some of this diseases. And additional bonus - an extension of the life span of different organisms....
