Borax is a water softener. I use it after the polish cycle to keep hard water mineral deposits from forming on my rocks. Think of spots on glasses in a dish washer. I run a final cycle for 30 minutes in my tumbler with water and a tablespoon of borax. I take the rocks out of the water borax solution and wipe them off. If you rinse them off you will get hard water deposits.

My mom was born in Compton lol!!!! Also, I just bought 5 vintage playboys, the 1953 OG Marilyn Monroe, 1955 January Bettie Page, 2 years 1955/1956 Jane Mansfield, and another random 1955 PB. I’m worried about them being 70 years +, will the peroxide ruin the playboy pages?

Great idea, I was going to try a bar magnet but then realized my wash plate is plastic.

I watched like 10 different videos on this but this one actually worked! You just have to out the shoe lace across the circle and leave the ends then just jimmy the ends until the shoe lace goes in the middle. For the blue just use s 10 size tbit with a drill.
@juancardec3849Ай бұрын
Couldn’t pull hard enough in shoe lace because my hand hurt but held my hammer horizontal so all the pressure wasn’t on my hands had pulled up hard spring right out. Watch out for your face lol. Good luck y’all. This video was a blessing

The shoelace did not work HOWEVER it made us think of using a strap so thank you! Fished a skinny strap like the shoestring and then wrapped around a board that we across the top of the washer and used the ratchet to get it to come off.

Everyone of these vids saying it's easy but cut the vid where they actually get it off😂😂😂😂

Right. Lol mine is a pain. Bolt wont come off.
@PSYCHOBABAYAGAАй бұрын
@candicecraighead4888 I got the bolt off but the agitator is froze on after years. Bad design. Those air pumps that they show is what you need. Our washer had a bad tub bearing so we got a new one but I broke it trying to get it off. New agitator is 30 dollars. So if you do break it you can replace it if needed. I was going to cut it off with a dremel and replace it but the washer wasn't worth fixing. Alot of these washers don't last and aren't worth fixing. Complete junk. Been a Appliance tech over 25 years and it's all junk😁

The way we do it is , 2 vise grips and 2 Allen wrenches insert the bent end of the Allen wrench into one of the holes directly apart from each other and clamp the vise grip to the straight end of the wrench and pull up. works every time,, I do like your shoelace method also
@alekseim55483 ай бұрын
As a tech I would say that method gonna work only 1 maybe 2 times out of 10. Usually it’s a hammer, puller and a new washplate.🤷🏼♂️
