Nice... I made one like that today without the paperclip. I wear glasses so I taped the top part of the mask across the bridge of the nose and upper cheeks... Like a 3-inch strip of tape... This way my glasses don't fog up... Good enough for a grocery store trip...

How about making 2 single sheet masks and wearing them both at the same time? It would be a lot easier to staple. Just a thought!!!

I am making a mask that uses blue shop towel material for a filter. Can someone please tell me how many hours or days this mask can be worn, before the blue shop towel filter should be replaced. Should the filter be replaced every day, every 3 days, or maybe once a week? Is there any reliable test to know when the blue shop towel filter should be replaced? This is very important to me, because I live in a very small Maya village in Guatemala, and up until a few weeks ago we had no cases, but then we had 1 case, then 5 cases, and now 15 cases. I am making this mask not only for myself, but for the other people in this village, and I need to tell them when the filter should be replaced.

Can the mask be cleaned and reused or one use only?

Mask are not meant to be reused. If you come in contact with any virus, especially COVID19, and if you reuse that infected mask you can cross contaminate other thing plus washing this mask would weaken the material lowering the effectiveness if any.

@@1onemage - Thanks for the reply! I was wondering if you put it in a brown paper bag for a few days, if that would save it for another use or put the bag in the dryer on high. Something along those lines. I know you could not wash it or just totally reuse it as is.
