what is the developer of the condo in the video
@animated000Ай бұрын
One thing he didn't factor in is the 30k he dropped for the condo. Lets say he has it for 10 years. Thats 250 a month. So he's living for $1000/month. Still cheap!

You're a young healthy dude why don't you do videos on how to exercise without going to the gym a pull-up bar and some calisthenics it's just as good as going to any gym why don't you create a workout system that's my recommendation to you because I like you
@CoMi0002 ай бұрын
I keep myself in decent shape but I’d get bored just doing gym content but I’ll keep the suggestion in mind. Do You live in Cebu too?
@TryorDie20242 ай бұрын
There's a reason why it's cheap. Come on talk to me when you've been there 10 years which I'm sure you won't. By your own statement it would take you 6 1/2 years to break even on that property. And that does not cover the cost of maintaining it or being sued or any number of other things that can happen by renting. I'm sorry I do like what you're trying to convey but like most KZbinrs you're only reporting the good and not the bad. The real bad
@CoMi0002 ай бұрын
Nah you’re right, it’s not perfect. There’s both good and bad like anywhere else.

Young brother, A luxury condo caters to an entirely different market and clientele than a low end condo so you will always be able to find a renter/buyer for them. I own 2 condos in Makati, one ( 70 SQM, 1 bed, 1 bath) I acquired in 2019 for P8.5M (currently worth P15M) and the other (150 SQM, 2 bed, 2 bath) I brought for P30M in early 2021 (currently worth P45M). Both condos are currently being rented, with the most expensive condo being rented out for P180k/month by a Chinese couple and the least expensive one going for P80k/month by an Australian guy.

Wassam bro, your crib looks reallynice with the new paint, even if its small yall made it look comfy. You can always look up space saving designs or such to make the most out of what you have. I would get one of those beds that fold up flat against the wall or converts to a big ass couch, so you have like a living room and bedroom in one. I keep my eye on FB marketplace just window shopping prices since you told me about it, its crazy how that I have seen some 78sm 1br condos going for up to 20mil in some places.

Yeah, those things happen, and I'm glad you're making it your own. You took that well 😆 Story time -- once I hired a guy and his crew to paint my interior living room and the adjacent hallway. Very similar colors to what you did. Dark gray and a light gray. After what I thought, a very, very detailed understanding was met, he and his crew proceeded to mix the grays together, painting the hallway and living room the same murkymid gray. Upon my return, I paid them, said 'thank you', as I walked them out. I promptly proceeded to repaint the rooms the correct style over a two week period. There was no point in losing my cool over it. Again, congratulations on the baby!

Great video! What about opening an account? My account was closed 5 years ago, and I didn’t bother reopening it. My Filipino friend told me that foreigners are not allowed to open an account with a tourist visa. Is that true??
@YEEEE_DINO3 ай бұрын
Hey man im looking to move to tagum to be with my LDR we've been long distance for almost 4 years due to me having a hard time saving the money. If i go there on the free 30 day no visa will i be able to extend that? Or do i need to get a tourist visa to begin with to have that option?
@CoMi0003 ай бұрын
I feel you man, long distance can be tough especially for a long time. You can easily extend your passport/visa every month for about $25-$35 but after the 2nd or 3rd month you’ll end up paying around $100-$120 for the alien registration card. You’re fine with just your passport.
@YEEEE_DINO3 ай бұрын
@CoMi000 for sure she's a registered nurse currently working! I wanted to bring her to the usa but they make it so damn expensive and takes forever. That being said I'm deciding I'll just come to her.

@kam_abroad3 ай бұрын
Looks much better! But man, it takes a super strong couple to live together in a studio with a baby and not drive each other nuts. A 1br that's 40sqm or higher is definitely needed.
@CoMi0003 ай бұрын
Thanks! I agree for sure. I see families of 5+ crammed up in these rooms and I hear them fight all the time 💀. I definitely plan on moving into a bigger space once my son gets older. Deciding on if I should get a spacious house outside the city for under $50k-60k or if I should just get a new condo. Leaning more towards the condo for ownership reasons though.
@kam_abroad3 ай бұрын
@@CoMi000 Condos seem so overpriced here. I can buy a condo in Canada for the price of a spacious 1br in many parts of Cebu City. Iwould go for the house if I had a wife but I am single and can't own in my own name.
@CoMi0003 ай бұрын
Yeah that’s true, you get better quality one’s out there too. Out here mainly expats and Filipinos working abroad can afford these condos really. I was lucky to find some under $35k but in Cebu city even smaller units than mine can be up to $60k which is crazy. Gotta get lucky and find some decent rush sales though.
@kam_abroad3 ай бұрын
@@CoMi000 $35k is insane. I haven't seen anything at that price range lately. How does one find these rush sales?
@CoMi0003 ай бұрын
I find a lot of rush sales on Facebook groups that are selling affordable condos in either Manila or Cebu depending on what you’re looking for. I remember I saw a nice 1br condo on the 13th floor being sold for like $23k with a clean title as well because the seller was leaving the country for good within a month. That was right after I bought mine too otherwise I’d have taken that in an instant.

@CoMi0003 ай бұрын
Yeah the condos are damn near selling for U.S prices. Not sure many locals would spend $150k on a condo when they could build a house for $20-30k. The place looks cool but I’ll see how it evolves over time. Looks like a sub-city meant for foreigners.
