... Great, a gimmick. Let me guess - it makes the printer three times as expensive as the competition, instead of the normal "only" two times Prusa standard?

Not really interested in making cosplay swords, but a belt printer would be awesome to hang a 3 kg spool and continuously 3D print products that fill a tray at the end of the out feed.

i like shorter videos so long as they are clear and focused. I actually prefer the longer format videos though. KZbin is my TV.

New Bambu Printer/Scanner Combo: Based on the info around my prediction, based on the info twitter etc. You said you were glad you checked both boxes as you assumed both were the same printer. The back and forward comments on being "clear" Prediction: So on the left will be a clear scanner where you place an object inside and hit scan, on the right the actual 3d printer communicates with the scanner and you hit print. If i'm wrong then that is where we should be heading in the future.

Ctrl+c , ctrl+v... no wonder bambu went closed system, at least that gave them few yrs until everyone else caught up, and still all those crealities anycubics etc are nowhere near bambu quality, there's literally nothing to get excited about here....

Between a solvo sv07+ and sv08. What are the real difference to the final print. I need a helmet size printer. I could imagine the sv08 to be somewhat faster. However how is adhesion to the build plate? Layer lines? Final quality of the print? The sv08 looks very primissing. However with black friday sale comming up. The sv07+ is sold at a really low price....... So what do people recommend?

Heres an idea. Create a life size replica if yourself, break it down to small pieces and use the left over filament to print the pieces. And in the end you will have a multi colored statue of yourself.

What material do you use for guitar pick? It seems like material matters. From my experience nylon seems flexible but durable. Perhaps PLA is a suitable replacement for nylon?

When I got into 3d printing 3 years ago... It was a love/hate relationship with my ender 3v2 and, later, ender 3v3 printers. But it was extremely frustrating when it didn't work. I learned a LOT about the hardware, gcode, control software, firmwares, etc. But I spent more time tinkering than printing. Since buying my Bambulab A1, I could spend more time actually printing... Designing, remixing, printing models for my kids... Painting and playing with them. Its no longer a hobby about the PRINTER. It's now a hobby about the prints.

Received my P1s a week ago. I love it. I am very impressed by Bambu Labs. They sent textured PEI plate. They sent a spare print head which was also 0.4mm. I ordered separately hardened gears and hardened 0.6mm nozzle. So many want hardened and 0.6mm, I would think that would be another configuration they could offer as a package. They sure have taken the challenge out of making good parts. so much better than my Ender3 v2 and CR10. I should be able to utilize all three, but mostly, I am spoiled now 😎😎 Separate topic, how often do you grease Z axis rods? And are they greased when it arrives? The rear threaded rod is kind of hard to reach.

Thanks for your review. I was struggling to make the decision between the K1C and the P1S, as I was aware of the Bamboo closed system, but I was scared of the quality of the K1C. I have an Ender 3 Pro for about 4 years, which is fully modded already, so I will go with the K1C to keep the possibilities of the modifications while enjoying the open source FW, so I can continue to use Klipper. Thanks again

At least for the Sovol SV08, I'm more interested in the mods coming out for changing the entire tool head for faster filament change times and no filament waste or dealing with the poop. I almost never print in color but I'd like to have two tool heads so I can print the bottom of a part in PETG-CF, a 4 mm interface layer that interlocks the PETG-CF with TPU, and the top of the part printed in TPU.

When explaining the new (to me) feature "Complete individual objects", you went waaaay too fast. I had to watch that clip a half a dozen times to try and capture the few milliseconds where you showed where that setting was - very frustrating. I know and use this feature in Bambu Studio, but didn't know Prusa Slicer also had it.

Sorry about that and thanks for the feedback. I actually asked ChatGPT for feedback on the original script and it said to cut down that explanation because it was too boring and technical. Guess I shouldn’t listen to it next time!

Honestly guys, how about a larger bed instead of tools rattling around inside....waisted space... the real problem here is that everyone has already invested in amazing core xy tech for over 2yrs now. Then comes prusa. Mk4 sales must have been low.

Jo explained it to me. Their average customer has a farm of 50+ machines with two or three build plates each, if they had to buy all new build plates, it would be whatever the opposite of a selling point is. They hinted that they will be able to scale this machine up or down very easily, but this one is for their core customer who wants to reuse existing build plates. It makes sense, even if it’s not what we normal consumers want.
