I had no idea the player character could get stunned, let alone that Vergil’s summoned swords explode and do that to you if you get hit with three of them. You’d think I would, since this game released almost 6 years ago

An idea I had would be that Mundus, having escaped but far too weak to face Dante and Vergil, finds Sparda’s grave/body and uses it to take the inherited swords for himself (maybe by tricking them into showing them to him or something) and they go on a journey for that.
