Another thing I love is that you can see the Yamato cutting through the air as he swings it, distorting the light around it. Such a cool touch

I remember somebody pointing out how Human the Yamato is, while being wielded by somebody whose trauma dictated that he discarded his Humanity, for the longest time. At the same time, Dante wields the Rebellion, a sword that can only look so much more demonic than it already does, yet he’s the twin brother who used to reject his demon side for years but still would rather die Human before ever throwing that away. Strength is a choice. It took separating his Human side entirely, from his person, to realize why Dante chose _his_ strengths.
