I use knowledge for things like my career and my family. Games are meant for fun. It’s why the industry is complete shit now. You either pay 70 dollars for a speech about equity or you have to commit yourself to a part time gig gitting gud to fight a dragon.

Good video. Sekiro is my favorite of all Soulsborne games and I dare say it is much better than Elden Ring in terms of gameplay.

I actually want to give extra thanks to autism representation, cause it helped me self diagnose. I have diagnosed ADHD, but I felt like ok, then why "this''

(I am not diagnosed (entirely because of the cultures my parents come from) but over the years of learning more and more about autism when I look back on my life and experiences aswell as my blood relatively it becomes very difficult to not draw connections to autism.) I've actually had the experience where the very long time close friend reveals that they dislike you and mock you behind your back multiple times. And I can't quite describe that kind of hurt. That repeated trauma instilled such a deep paranoia for me around people and making now friends that took many years and loads of positive experiences to shake off. Seeing Laois experience that was like a slap in the face with a sock you filled with trauma juice and attached to a mirror. Aka it hurt, it was uncomfortable, left me stuck thinking about it for a long time afterward and I could see myself in it. (Sorry for that rediculous analogy, I couldn't think of anything else) (Also sorry this was so long, I have the Yap disease)

Honestly while it was painful with Shuro? Laios DOES have true friends: the two that stuck with him and Senshi. Namari still clearly cared about him but she had her own issues that likely made it harder for her to stick around, but Marcille became friends with Laios through Falin and she clearly cares about him. Chilchuck gets frustrated with Laios but that’s because he got close to him as a teammate and he’s loyal to a fault so that endeared them to each other. Senshi and Laios kicked it off fast because this is a wiser, older man seeing a spunky young man who clearly wants to learn from him and that got them to connect quickly.

Discovered my mood kindred in Kabru, honestly. Im not on the autistic spectrum, but was kanda forced to learn social algorithms like a programming book because of life specifics. Pros: i create wonderful impressions in people. Cons: i cant give a damn about anyone truly. I just calculate the most beneficial reaction for the situation im in and use that. Its automatic already and u cant act other way. It actually sucks

This might be a bold take on my end but ANN’s question is objectively a dangerous one with or without intention. The reason is it creates a division based on the answer and in this case the division is “Laios’ place”. I think Ryoko did her best in answering the question where Laios can remain in an ambiguous enough state to still be up for interpretation. On one hand had she answered ‘No’ in the absolute sense, as many are interpreting it, it has much potential in hurting a lot of people but if she answers yes then many would start over analyzing Laios and comparing him to some textbook definition, going through him with a fine comb and criticizing Ryoko for “a bad representative of Autism” if she falters somewhere along the way. Again although this is a very interesting question many may want an answer, the answer has potential of tearing down certain monuments rather than building them.

You make a fantastic point about Serie's "soft power". While she is compared to a deity in her degree of magical power and knowledge, that seems insignificant to compared to what she has done without magic. The ability to shape an entire culture and impress your beliefs upon everyone in that culture, without them even realizing it....that's actually a scary level of influence.

I fucking LOVE autism, became my special interest as soon as I became more aware of it at age 17. This entire video is incredibly well put together, mad excellent points. Whenever I try to talk about autism and my own thoughts/experiences the way I word things always feels like it is generalizing something or misconstruing what my actual, nuanced opinion is. It's great to see good videos like this :) it reminds me of when i talked to my grandfather about me getting diagnosed just a year ago. He was very curious and we ended up talking about how my autism genes probably came from him. It's so cool to have discussions about stuff like stereotypes, the spectrum of autism, masking, how media ends up misrepresenting us, and intersectionality with gender, differing cultures/social backgrounds, and more. Basically what Im saying is this video had all the words that make my brain explode with happiness, so thank you! I think im going to finish dungeon meshi now

The Fear and Hunger games are great games and really good and rewarding to play because of this. Just saying.... i recomend the games, they really are great and if you like horror, rpgs, lore and good characters i think you will love to play this game, and even more if you like challenges and like to keep getting better and better, if you are like me and like to learn almost everything by yourself you will find these games frustrating at the beginning but after hours of suffering you will love these games :D. Termina is such a good game, its really cheap and the replayability of this games is great, its worth the buy so... yeah also if you become a fan there's a third game comming... in a few years probably but it's worth the wait. Sorry if i wrote something wrong, im bat at writing in english just in case something looks funny...

I adore both casts and characters for completely different reasons, like engage does have some very solid character writing but while still being in a world and story that’s Saturday morning cartoon Esque. But that’s what I like about it? I just find them silly and endearing but with (usually) a lot more going on beneath the surface. Like the princess character, Celine, and unmentioned characters like Pannette, Pandreo and Fogado. I wouldn’t say it’s comparable to three houses at all but it’s more than it’s given credit for!

Another gameplay thing similar is randomized tools. There is is this game called mosa Lina. Every level is random, and the tools you have are random. In this way, you MAKE the tools useful to the puzzle at hand, no use is wrong unless it doesn’t work.

For vermintide you need to do chaos wastes if you want a more balanced power since everyone starts at the same power aside from talents. I will say that I do prefer chaos wastes because it is essentially a rogue like that is team based. I’ll go into like normal missions from time to time if I want a quicker game or to challenge myself with builds. Tome and grimoire hunting is also quite fun
