After the FallBall season there is no doubt (IMO) that Sam Landry is the ace of this staff. Her ability to locate her pitches, throw competitive pitches on 0/2 and 1/2 counts (which enhances her strikeout ability and something lacking in Deal), and her ability to throw a changup for a strike on any count, makes her the most reliable pitcher on the staff. Lowrey is making great strides and should be the #2 on this staff by February. Still don't know why we haven't seen Smith?? Gonna be a FUN season.

Going to be a REALLY fun season. Can't wait! And Smith isn't hurt or suspended. Was told it's a transcript issue from Campbell. Hopefully that's sorted out soon.

Sat behind home plate last night and Landry has really good late-breaking lateral action on that off-speed pitch. So does Lowry but as she is left-handed it breaks in in right-handers - I think it was Bella Emerling who took a full cut at a pitch that hit her in the shoulder, which I have seen before but not very frickin’ often.
