Nice to see in game 1 what might be the actual starting lineup this coming Spring. Then it was good to see in game #2 several others making a contribution.

Quick take aways *This team does have deep ball power (two off the scoreboard) while also manufacturing runs. *pitching is going to be just fine. Love the mixing in of Ella and Ailana *we can develop talent. Couldn’t be more proud of Hanna Coor and Maya Bland, and Nelly MM, all giving us glimpses of what’s to come *Freshmen are going to be hard to sit, Garcia, Malloy, Barker *#ChampionshipMindset is in good hands with Parker and Pickering leading the way

For those of us who couldn't see or even listen! to the game, could use a game summary. SoonerSports did not even acknowledge there was a softball game last night and says their next game on the website was Oct 2! Quite a snub for the 4 peat champions. Also. the Franchise ignored the game. What's the deal. For those of us without cable, very frustrating. 😢

It was not clear if there was one 10 inning game or two 5 inning games with a combined scoreboard. 1st -- some walks and a Dayotn hit, and then a score on a Pickering fielder's choice. Landry starts and gives up a hit but everything else was clean. 1-0 2nd -- some walks, SAC RBI fly by Dayton, and a 2 RBI double by Parker. Landy clears the opposite side. 4-0 3rd -- quick inning without action. 4-0 4th -- Dayton gets on. Parker hits A 2 RBI HR, followed by a solo HR from Pickering. Landry, Parker, and Lowery each faced a batter in a 1-2-3 inning. 7-0 5th -- another quick inning, with Lowery still on the mound. 7-0 6th? or new game? -- Bland walks, but moves around on steals and popups until a McKay ground-out RBI brings her in. Lowery gives up a hit, but no runs. 8-0 7th -- Back-to-back-to-back solo HRs from Parker, Nelly, and Bland. Coor walks and gets in on an RBI by McKay. Lowery faces 2 more, and Agbayani closes the side. 12-0 8th -- Garcia walks, Pickering hits 2 RBI HR. Deal takes the mound. Some sloppy defense with a questionable interference call and the side is cleaned up. 14-0 9th -- no action inning. Deal on the mound. 14-0 10th -- Zache hits a double to the wall and walks to Agbayani and Parker to load the bases. Emerling hits an RBI, but Agbayani is thrown out trying for home. Bland hits 2 RBI triple. Coor hit 2 RBI HR. Deal gives up a double, but closes the game out. 19-0 Interesting notes: Maya Bland may have had both an HR and a Triple in that second set of 5 innings. Parker and Pickering both had 2 HRs on the night. Others with HRs included Maya Bland, Hannah Coor, and Nelly McEnro-Marinas.

I have to say, I really love Nelly Macinroe Marinas at third and am curious is Ailana Agbayani I know she is playing second but with her athleticism and that gorgeous athltic throw that crosses distance like an sr 71 blackbird, what do yoiu think as for her skills could she be the Starting SS, If so and Hannah Coor is healthy would she play outfield or battle for 2nd base? I also feel like Tia Malloy with speed and Pickering with experiance and Mya Bland with Speed and some exp in my mind I just see that as the starting outfield, The great thing about having God Given ability bTalent and coachability maybe in a team where we are near run rule would Patti sub out a lot just to keep the gears greased and add to exp?

That game was the WORSE CALLED BOTH GAME I HSVE EVER WATCHED....tv color wasnt even telling who the batters were...all these new players ZERO information....didnt even tell us their names...it was very frustrating...it was why I wanted to watch the game...he wouldnt talk OU pitcher on the mound
