I have the Old Stevens 947D 27 inch Barrel that I've been target shooting since 1981 and I'll tell you this with the longer Barrel I'm getting over 2,000 FPS with 410 Slugs and hitting targets at 100 Yards with no problem so of course if you are looking to hitting distances up to 100 Yards I recommend the old Stevens 94D 410 Shotgun really a under rated Shotgun. Funny how some states will allow 357 Magnum for Deer Hunting but won't allow the 410 Shotgun for Deer Hunting meanwhile the 410 is a little stronger than the 357 Magnum especially with a 27 Inch Barrel hitting around 2,050 - 2,100 FPS . How about mounting a pic rail on the forward flat section of the forearm and then using a single point sling in the rear or remounting the sling swivel to the side of the forearm and the side of the stock?

@@frankbrowning328 I surely could, but would need to make parallel surfaces. I have done this for lights before no issue. But as its a sighting device.... It needs be on the barrel for any real accuracy. Its already "loose accuracy" I can only imagine the "patterns" id get with it mounted to the for stock. :)

@@JCJustice-kv2gy I have four of them now. 😜. As a hunting scope I like them alot. As a defensive or tactical they will work well too. As a target optic not as good. I have one on the shelf waiting on my 400 Legend and I just moved one to my 300 BO Ruger Bolt.
