Mine runs fine (though noisy) when disconnected from the tubing, but it doesn’t seem strong enough to run when connected. Is there a clog in the tubing?

What if you can get it going by spinning the shaft but when the tub reaches temp and the pump shuts off and get stuck again. Would this be an indication of needing a new pump?

Don't buddy your pool now than 2.5ft. You'll have to change the gaskets eventually and the pump is gravity fed. It will not prime if it's above the water level. Side note when you change the liner, we charge almost double because the walls will collapse 75%of the time. Its called an above ground pool for a reason. Also if you bury it, it voids the pools warranty immediately.

Has anyone experienced a Bestway sand filter case splitting at the bottom? We fitted it in July 2024, it now has a 1 inch split on the bottom curve and no, we haven’t dropped it at any stage. Anyone have any idea how we can repair it ? We lost at least a lot of water.

I had my neighbor use his backhoe to dig a 2 foot deep hole for my pool. There was a one foot clearance from the dirt to the pool wall all the way around. He got it to 1/4" level. Added a 2 foot deck to the edge of the pool half way around. Worked great. Absolutely no dirt against the pool wall.

my pump was only 2 months old, it was working fine, i then turned it off to clean out basket, plugged it back and it did the humming sound then a tick sound then turns off. I tried this trick and some reason it still wont work :( it was a dohney

Saved me money was looking up pumps and decided to check you tive for a second time by looking up the humming nose. I had a different pump with a fan but just turn the fan and clean around and it worked five minutes later. Faster to fix then watching the video.
