Something I just realized while I was thinking about So Atom's whole deal is he's an old tech sparring bot, made of quality armor meant to take a beating, but he was designed not to be able to really dish much back supposedly, yet we see him performing just fine in these actual fights. Here's my theory! We see exactly how Atom is SUPPOSED to act in his first ever fight, it just went over our heads slightly. We're all frustrated and yelling at the screen for Atom to fight back when the thing is, at the time, he didn't know HOW to fight back. He was acting like a sparring bot, backing up, keeping arms up. He literally did not know how to throw a punch, I bet this is how these sparring bots are designed. The only blow he had to deal was what Max taught him. He can fight well here thanks to Charlie's teaching, his direction, and the experience he's been picking up.

People hate John died in this timeline. But Hot take: I think this is the only good scene in the movie because its the only scene to give off that ruthless mechanical sense of despair that the first two movies had. The rest was nonsense laws of gravity define cgi rag doll slap fight. I also love how in the new Netflix show made it canon that skynet keep sending terminators back makes no sense because you keep making alternate time lines that don't impact your current present.

Terminator Zero might have just saved the franchise!

I'm sad John was killed in this movie. I know that the idea of the plot was to get Dani the lead character to become the future leader of the Resistance. But it just seems disappointing knowing that one of my favourite Terminator characters has been slayed by the T-800. Not intending to gripe but rather just commenting on the film. Nevertheless I acknowledge that some enjoyed this movie and I respect that even though I disagree with what happened to John.

Amazing de-aging going on here. But I so despice this scene. The killed John Connor the leader of the resistence, replaced him with a girl savior. Then they made Terminator into a sad old man, and replaced him with a half terminator girl boss. I can't believe James Cameron himself came up with the idea. hate today's DEI Hollywood.

Like in a fighting game he did all his fancy moves but didn’t learn the basics so he got washed.

I like this concept, this concept was upsetting at first I will agree but we all have to remember that, at this point the terminator doesn’t really have a clear storyline anymore, it’s all explained in terminator zero, without spoiling anything I look at each movie as its own timeline, who knows maybe there is a timeline where John survived, we don’t really know, cuz after terminator zero has given me more hope for the entire franchise.

Other than that tremendous scifi nonsense about saving the whole ship it was super cool movie. I very much enjoyed it. Pretty romantic as well.

It’s not just that this scene is obscene, but the entire plot of the movie is completely pointless… and unnecessary. Terminator ended with T2, I loved the idea of having the actors back through the years, but just bad attempt after bad attempt. Let it GO!
