Mate you are literally what everyone can picture themselves doing. No 'experts' with fancy equipment, justbyou on the drive. The editing is top botch and great to see how your confidence and ability has grown since you started the channel.......now sort out the body rust!!! Well done

Your can do attitude is excellent... Well done, you have proven that just giving it a try can work. Welds seem excellent and proven now as they held. The confidence of swapping the exhaust and fitting the spacers. Excellent work

Whoa, I saw a couple of your videos ages ago, I remember the video about the subwoofer in your vw schirocco and since that video, Ive entered the car enthusiast world and got an nc mx5 like yours, although it's a powered hard top and a 1.8 without vvti. all mine has so far are some alloys which I'm not a huge fan of, meister r crds which have been a really amazing change to the car (more comfortable/better ride than my old worn shocks for me and much better handling also), an intake, tune and back box and sound deadening along with a diy sound system (8/12 inch sub, 8 inch midbasses, 3 inch midranges, front 1 inch tweeters, and 2 inch full range drivers with tweeters for rear fill, all amped after a head unit). sound deadening made the car an actually comfy place to be when driving but when the top is down, all the right driving noises come right in. I got pretty inspired by you diy welding the sills, what was the process of that like? have you trained to use it or did you just give it a shot yourself?

I’ve been a welder fabricator 3 years now and am also into cars this has gotten me into the mood to do something similar haha my mechanics knowledge isn’t top tier but that’s what KZbin and forums are for I guess ahha been watching you for years now love the videos mate keep up the work

Thanks so much mate, appreciate it! 😁❤ But yeah definitely, the wheel arches are pretty bad on the MX5, I might need a year brake from any welding as I was sick of doing it by the end of the last sill 😅😢

Listen m8, before I start. I aint never welded a thing, I struggle with a soldering iron !. Your welding looks likes a 'pigs guts' BUT !!!. Boi 10 out of 10 for effort and the absolute balls to have a go and to get it back solid again. I really envy your f**k it attitude and the bottle to go for it. Well done, awesome to see the MX5 back on the road and not in a scrappy for parts. Top job done on a driveway on stands in the UK weather by a geezer who didn't have a clue. Cant wait to see this on the track. 👍👍👍👍

@TheOtherStuff7 ай бұрын
I like both to be honest, definitely prefer a loud car, however, with this being a soft top and not very well noise cancelled inside, its extremely noisy with a loud exhaust! 🤣
