I would love to binge watch your adventure from the beginning; unfortunately, your playlist is created backwards. It shows the newest video first instead of starting from the oldest video. It will only take a few minutes to create a correct playlist, in chronological order. I will try you channel again later,when I can binge watch.

Your home looks so much better without the rendering on it. Another excellent job you are doing to improve your house and land. We just love your attitude and comments. In the UK we would say that the ‘external plumbing work’ must have been done by cowboy builders 😮

Such a lot of hard work, but well worth it. The farmhouse looks so much better and it can breathe again! It will look amazing once repointed - another awesome task in itself! Keep going, you're doing a fantastic job. Well done!

It's a funny thing, but sometimes having a willing assistant doesn't necessarily speed the job up! I love the randomness of the stonework. The person who built that must have taken ages!

Hi Philippe, are you sure you are from Belgium as you constantly talk about the weather and the rain. I am quite sure you are really an Englishman like me, as that is all we talk about LOL Hi Anicia love your work on the videos about your lovely family and the beautiful farm and location it is set in. My partner Rosa and I love the bit when Odin helped his dad to shovel up the concrete and put it in the wheelbarrow. Phillipe as you are 39 please get yourself a really decent pair of knee protectors and wear them instead of just kneeling down without protection. I am 68 now and my knees cause me so many issues and are extremely painful. The sort of knee pads you can get now did not exist in my young working days, wish they had. Regards Chris

The front of the house is looking great! I agree that the stones make it look rustic and more in line with how it should be. At least now the wall can breathe; so sweet to see Odin helping his papa. Not sure on your plans to cover the pipes for winter but we use ' pool noodles ' for the smaller ones and they work fine. Cheap too and low cost to replace.

I was really quite surprised when you spoke of a water meter. Based on the drone pictures of your property, I was under the assumption that you have a well to supply your water. How far away is the municipal water treatment plant? Would it be worth it to pay for a drilled well? Would the municipality allow you to have a well ?
@DomaineSauvage
@DomaineSauvage 2 күн бұрын
Hello Paul, i haven't looked yet where our water comes from. We do have a well in the "courtyard" and we intend to use it for everything if it can supply enough and the quality is good.

@@DomaineSauvage If you have not received a bill for the water from anybody I guess that the well is the souce of your supply. Is there a water testing lab nearby?

You're lucky, you can easily reach your water meter.... Here in the UK it has to be at least one metre [39"] below ground, so it won't freeze....

I love seeing Odin helping out. I’m a bit concerned with the open cellar steps; could you put back the old railing and block it off somehow so he doesn’t fall in? I remodeled my house when my kids were little and I remember how fast they can get into trouble when you’re trying to work. Everything is looking SO much better after all your hard work.

The water/sewer thing, I don't think will be technically hard, especially for Philippe and Odin, just one more thing to do with a lot of digging, at least you have the "tool" for that. Great progress, looks really good.
