I've since been able to do it with a plastic pry tool. There's no bolts, it just pops right off and since there's no shifter, I don't have to deal with that aspect. I'll be doing the install this morning as I went to Lowes last night to pick up velcro 😊. I had a box that I used for two audio installs but found it was depleted of one of the two sides of the velcro. The "instruction" photo-copy is terrible. Looks like they keep it that way to encourage it be done by an "installer".

Yeah Amal i checked they do not have stock of the led drl.. why dont you check with Tata spares. They will have for sure. I think only one function does not work if you change the drl... which xm does not have. Am not sure what that function is.

Even I wanted to add led drl to my xe harrier ,but didn't get any support from tata workshop ,any leads will help if any 1 got led drl with dual function installed in base harrier

Yes you will have to.there is no other way to pry in safetly into that area without removing the console

Hi Erik... you dont have to remove any clip by itself all you do wiggle the gear knob up and pull it up and the clips comes off by itself

Yeah you are right there are 3 screws on the top that holds the head unit. I think which i had already taken off. Thats why i missed that but its obvious that you will see those 3 black screws on the top on. Thanks anyways

So sorry i took out that comment of yours that was by mistake. I understood what you are talking about. Now i didnt have the 8inch original head unit with my car. When Tucson was launched here in Bahrain we didnt have that option. So i had the 5 inch screen. And for the after market headunit which you see in the video the unit is connected to the panel itself so those screws are not there in mine and also because the unit itself is wider i have removed those metal stay pieces.

Hi its easier than the a pillar. You have to remove your door beading first then remove your scuff or the bottom cover (where your wire runs to the back) and also you have to do the same at the back door tooand the whole b pillar sits on just 4 clips i guess. Just pry it from the bottom. I will try to post a video this weekend.

Hi this video is from 2016 when i bought the car. Yes am still using the HID and far better lighting and throw compared to led bubls. I have LED in my High Beam... and here in Bahrain we very very rarely use the high beam as all the roads are well lit. We use to flash lights when someone driving slow on the speed lanes. Thats just simple. Just swap the bulbs with led.

You have to check if the socket behind is the same but may be you will not be able use sync mode as that function is not available in your model. Am not sure but i have read somewhere that one guy has put the cruze control switch panel on this tuson and it worked. So may be but am not sure
