How to Install HID on 2016 Hyundai Tucson

Hi friends, this is my first video. What inspired me to make this is video is that i didn't find even a single video of someone fixing HID to Tucson. Sorry for the quality of the video. I have tried to keep it as neat as possible.
I have bought all the accessories from "ALI EXPRESS". you have android app for the site. Please note to buy your stuffs from companies that have a rating of more than 96%.
The bulb socket that fit my Tucson is "TK032". that is the number for my Tucson. please check for yours before you order them.

Thank you, I did not realize the older Hyundai H7 hid bulb adaptor would fit as the 2016 factory connector looks different. Thanks I will buy back the adaptors and try the install.

hi Enrique when you order from Ali express you need to specify to them on the order message for which vechile you need them fitted. i check with the seller who sold me these they no more have this product

Can I just use a canbus hid kit vs getting those capacitors for error free ? Wish Hyundai would use h11 bulb vs h7 makes it difficult

Nice job !! I am in the USA and have a 2017 Tucson our bulb holders are different along with the dust cap ,I ordered some hid bulb holders from Ali express with rubber boots that cover the hole where the dust cap goes. I am going to install soon, hopefully it comes out well

Wonmin Lee I just did mine the other day. I ordered the 75 mm dust cap off amazon. They didn't fit too small. I have another set coming. 85mm diameter though. I followed the same instal on everyhing else.

hi Jhonathan i am not very sure of the H7 led. but as far as i know led bulbs come with the H7 adaptor fitted on it. For the fog lamps its H8 here

hey navein, I got my kit and it came with h7 holders for hyundai, did yours click in with no problem? Mine cant be set they keep coming loose, also the oem bulb plug in is a pain to get into my dust cap, which I noticed yours are smooth, mine have some sort of x pattern on the inside of the dust cap. I've tried to get these in for hours but no success...any help would be appreciated. Thanks

+Sebastian Morales Sorry for the late reply can you please send me the photos of these items. The holders do not click in. you have to align it with the grooves and then turn it clock wise to lock it. Can you also please explain why you need to insert the OEM bulb adaptor into the dust cap? have you had problems with one side (passenger normally) turning off a few seconds after light up causing it to go out and come up with error on info display? i have used cambus same kit, reading online seems to be common on the hyundia....

Ash Bayer You need to get a relay harness which will deliver power directly from the battery to the HIDs. Hyundai/Kia cars have that problem and a relay harness is the solution

Hi this video is from 2016 when i bought the car. Yes am still using the HID and far better lighting and throw compared to led bubls. I have LED in my High Beam... and here in Bahrain we very very rarely use the high beam as all the roads are well lit. We use to flash lights when someone driving slow on the speed lanes. The projector housing is still good without any damage or wear. Mail me you whatsapp number or mail me i will reply back to you.

Hi Naveen, thanks a lot for this very useful video!! I'm gonna set an HID kit on my new Tucson, but I'm worried about to lose the warranty... Have you got any information about it? Another question : Does the rubber in the hole of the dust cap you drilled is totally waterproof, without fogging in the light? Thank you!

Armand Rochas hi There is no need to cut any wire and so the warrenty is not a matter. Should take care to order for for 55w hid kit. The rubber seals are good. Its water proof and dust proof. Take care not to make the hole more than 1 inch otherwise the seal will be loose

Nana Saka hi There isnt much to do with the Led in the high beam. Just remove the back cover. Remove the old bulb place the led driver and blub inside. Lock the bulb in socket and put the cover back

Are you using a 35W ballast and 6000K? Or would you say 5000k is more pure white without blue hint on these headlight projectors and match the DRL better?

Markus Duesterhoeft hi i am using 55w 6000 and it matches the drl. I have a new set of HID now and its a AC Ballast and works better and brighter.

Naveen Navaneeth cool and thanks for the reply, I'm looking to do a few more mods too :) Actually I'm thinking of upgrading to a 55w ballast, probably worth the increased output and as I understand 6000k with that will be more washed out and thus looks more like 5000k. Just concerned if they might run to hot. (Risk melting it premature failure)

+jonathan perez you do not need an adapter for the Led but i am not sure if you will need the capacitor canceler for the same. For me the for lamps were H8.
