It feels weird to go from sitting higher up to sitting lower in the car. My first time and week in the truck I caught a cold and rested as my partner drove. Due to the altitude coming from Colorado springs to drive to Virginia

They remove the stacks so it's good to transport under 13.5

Wish I knew that I needed to clear Everything out of my truck when it had a massive breakdown. They told me I would be issued a 'temporary truck' and to 'take everything out that you need' I took that literally (things I need till I get back to my truck) well my temp truck got turned into my perminate truck. and I lost a few items that I left behind (chargers, USB.. small things). If you read this how long you been with tmc? ever been contacted about joining the final mile acct? I've been with tmc for 3+ years and currently final mile driver.

I've been with the company for a similar amount of time. I've never heard of the final mile account. What exactly do you do?
@erichighsmith72992 ай бұрын
@@EruditeTrucker The Final Mile Account is a home daily dedicated acct. delivering only from Home Depot. To peoples homes or sometimes businesses. OSB, lumber, drywall etc… home daily (Good). Work 6 days a week only two holidays Thanksgiving and Christmas off (Bad). That’s a very basic breakdown of what the Finale Mile account is. Also includes using a forklift yourself to offload/deliver the order. I thought that was a good skill to learn and think so. Pls keep making ur videos, even ppl who have been with TMC for years do appreciate them.

So crazy question but you know how you keep the S rings you find for your bungies and storage management, do you take your S rings or take the whole bungies/Chains with you? Weird question lol J.W.
@EruditeTrucker2 ай бұрын
I only take loose S rings that I find on the ground. Nothing with a bungee still attached.
@shaikirksey32082 ай бұрын
@@EruditeTrucker no right I understand I remember watching a video where I think you said you use those loose S rings to manage your chains or something. So when you have to move a whole truck do you keep that set up for the next driver or do you take the chains with you since you spent the time organizing them with the S rings you’ve found.

All of the company owned equipment stays with the old truck. I only take my personal equipment. I keep my S rings.
