Why didn't you enclosed the bottom of cabin to prevent heat loss ? Seems like a common sense thing to do up north. My place in the South is enclosed.

I swear the first two weeks of Dec. here in Anch were like breakup. We went to Nancy Lake to ride a little and there was snow but not like the last two years for sure. It's early though. We like riding in March and April.

Right on great as always. The Styrofoam around the hot tub seems to make a difference👍 i was worried when i seen you go in to the outhouse with the Sawzall 😂 but you where putting in a school bus window 👍 and i don't blame you for moving your trail its to dangerous especially with a sleigh or less experienced riders. It will take a bit longer but safer, and for the brush growing dont i know it i can't keep up also. This year im trying a edge trimer attachment on my weed wacker i think for the smaller stuff it should work good and less work. Well Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 🎄🎅🍺💥🔥🎉 and the Christmas clip was great looked like lots of fun. Well from Northern Ontario🇨🇦

Here in Spokane WA we've had a few little snow flurries and that's it so far this winter. Weather app says we have 1 to 3 inches coming on New Year's Day. ❤

@diyalaskanlifestyle
@diyalaskanlifestyle 22 сағат бұрын
@@marvinalbers3353 it was 1000 gal tank we prob put 750 gal in it. I can get it hot enough if I have all day but usually I try and get it full the first night and get a fire going in it which will warm it up 10-15 degrees. Then the next day it’s not so much work

Greets again from Hamburg in Germany ( 2 plus centigrades near by frozen temp) Sauna culture is an easy thing: Low ceilings (not higher then 220 centimeter) much more wood no gab for coldbridges) If you can- build a steal 4x6 for the oven ca.30 centimeter high and fill that with stones. River stones can explode like granades and shrapnells can hurt. Metall walls will prevent a litle bit of this danger. I would also build a mudroom. All Sauna nations have a front space where they sit eat and drink on wood. Its a puffer zone for the heat in the sauna. Its a must have. This also would reduce the cold in the WC toilet..I also would reduce the ceiling and use the space over that (where the windows are- for what are this windows? Light in the night? Disko Studio 54? ) And there you could store stuff in boxes. An extra entry from the side, Remember: Heat rises to the top. Sauna must create heat turbulences- heat storms but that is only posible if the ceiling is not so high. As more wood you have inside as more heat storage you have. A second floor with ca30 centimeter space between the real floor in the sauna is also a traditionell thing. No cold feeds wet swett can fall down and you can clean up under that place. Its nice to have real warm feeds but that is olny posible if you have HOT dry wood slates under them. Frank
