I watched anime when it first came to the States but have gradually grown out of interests for the genre, the tropes, and the behavior from the many fans. I don't mind people enjoying anime and understand what it is like to be made fun of for the things you enjoy. What I would like to see more of are Anime fans have the same understanding to those who aren't into anime and stop assuming it is due to petty reasons or ignorance. Liking anime back in the 90's was a LOT harder due to the teasing and bullying over it. I feel like anime now has the same kind of peer pressure other popular things had when I was young. There is a heavy push to like it now. Very bizarre.

It’s cringey, always the same shit about a character having some big dream in life trains gets stronger or meats a girl in life or has the worst and weirdest fucking plots which I could never understand anime fans liking, like a boy becoming a baby of his favourite model, or a boy’s body changing from fat to strong throughout the day and night cycle or some mf who thinks finds out they’re powerful or are just overpowered. Anime humour also doesn’t help like not only are the fans unfunny enough so is anime with it’s forced humour with characters just hitting, injuring themselves or screaming at each other or even chasing like it isn’t funny it’s lazy and forced humour. The voice acting is way too expressive I swear down these mfing voice actors take it way to far trying to rough out a angry males voice trying so hard to sound badass, but to me it’s just pathetic and those mf high pitched pick me girl voices piss me off. The anime girls, do I even need to say anything for this one? And last but not least the animation now as much as I genuinely believe all anime are just weirdly written, repetitive and god awful there are some really nice animation in the media, but the fans are milking it like japan has the best animation ever as if ALL of anime’s animation is good because a lot of it really isn’t it would literally have zero lip syncing a frame focusing on one thing for way too long because a character is speaking in their head, a character zooming past another character and some slash or multiple attacks hit them afterwards or smth and ofc when they’re running it just shows the character going up and down with an extreme background to make it look like they’re moving and most of the fights are overrated af like I can’t even tell wth is going on in there and don’t even get me started on the anime fans who think western animation is bad and lazy, because it isn’t it’s stylish and may also have it’s far share of bad animations the stories and lore are better(imo) some of them actually make sense including basic plots which isn’t even a bad thing something anime can’t seem to do correctly and smooth animation doesn’t always mean it’s good, but look at those older Disney and dreamworks movies the traditional movies and even some 3d ones like httyd 3 they’re cinematic masterpieces and you can actually tell what’s going on whilst they tell a genuine plot and story that makes sense and that you can understand, and that’s why I hate anime this is just my opinion but I heavily believe that anime is just straight up trash.
