Totally wrong, 0.5% of players from high schools are drafted to play minor league ball. He was drafted, a coddled player who his uncle, a former major leaguer, trained. Spoiled to the core, was recruited by the best high school team in Nashville, no one beats them -- they recruit. I played against this team Overton high school. They recruit players, have the best field and win every single year, it's a tragedy. It is a miracle he's the best player to come out of a dysfunctional high school system of baseball in Nashville-- that I agree with.

Dude is still criminally underrated. I maintain he’s the best all around baseball player in the game since about 2017. His 2018 season with the Res Sox is among the best ever, and since then he’s been the catalyst for the most successful franchise in sports. He’s simply very good at minimum, and more often outstanding, at every single thing he’s asked to do. Stats alone can’t capture what players like Mookie bring to a team.

As a Red Sox fan, I was crushed when he was traded. I just hope it doesn't start another curse for us. Mookie is elite in every way, except height. Dodgers are very likable as a whole as well. Even though they bought a ton of players.

Mookie Betts was incredibly humble/kind when signed a ball for me while he was playing for Pawtucket. Two weeks later he was called up to the show and torched the league. He will forever be my favorite player regardless of who he’s playing for.
