That explains why they didn't listen to Gordon. They're crooks. What's shocking is that if Samy was not fazed by Gordon's strictness and if he is capable of doing that, that could've easily happened to Gordon too. I'm glad Samy was sent away, and Amy deserves it too!

I can see Austin's side of it, he was the leader, but with the Sentai footage being used, all props to him, but Jason Frank had alot more charisma and charm. Boys thought he was cool as hell and girls were dreamy eyed over him. Austin was getting replaced and hes still bitter about it.

Austin St. John, Thuy Trang, and Walter Jones are unbothered. Austin St. John has a life and a went on to have long career as a military medic serving overseas for years. If you think that he was losing sleep over a TV gig from the early 90s at which they were paid McDonald’s wages, you need to get real. ASJ, Jones, and Trang left with class. Also, you’re factually wrong. Jason David Frank was not even going to return to MMPR after being the green ranger. The original plan was for the actor Brad Hawkins to play a new character who would be the White Ranger. Jason David Frank was set to be on another show called Cybertron (which evolved into VR Troopers). However, once Austin St. John, Jones, and Trang began transitioning out of MMPR, they swapped Tommy back into MMPR as the white ranger. Even in the reveal episode “White Light” Zordon did not make white ranger the leader in the original script. They dubbed his voice after Austin St. John had left. This was to prepare for Rocky/Adam/Aisha; none of whom were going to be the new leader. Austin St. John was not replaced. He chose to leave a show that was screwing over its cast. The show then had to make up for his absence. It never reached the heights of season one again. It’s been a thirty year decline and now it’s cancelled.

Walter Emanuel Jones was a powerhouse of an actor. I loved his energy in both power rangers, and in the nickelodeon show Space Cases.

Basically Austin was a young alpha male (he was only 17 when he was cast). He obviously had some maturity issues and would try to compete with the other guys. Jason had a bit of an ego as well and couldn't stand it when Austin would make claims he could do things he knew he couldn't. Everyone agreed Austin had some issues and was immature. Seemed Austin completely moved on with his life, but JDF kept brining it up their beef for years. I think JDF did eventually realize how long ago it was, but sort of funny the immature one grew past it long before him.

I could understand why Austin St John felt some type of way. He was the leader at first, then power rangers passed him aside and made Jason David Frank the leader while he came on to the show later. So, to me, that would make anybody feel some type of way, but I will say that Jason David Frank deserves to be the leader of the show because he stayed on the show from mighty morphan power rangers, to power ranger zeo, and power ranger turbo, while Austin St John left the show in the early part of the first or second season. Austin St John was a great leader, the same as Jason David Frank. Jason david Frank was more dedicated to the show. Therefore, he deserves to be the new leader. May Jason David Frank RIP 🙏

I’ve been an audience member for a TV magic …show ..I can verify that a lot of its set up ..including getting the audience to clap and cheer …even a standing ovation ..I vowed never to go as part of an audience again …a terrible experience!!
