One is an out of the box trigger (the Expert) and the other is an add on trigger (the 226), correct? If that is the case, HK’s triggers out of the box are incredible. No mod needed. 🤷♂️

Lever actions only negative is limited round capacity...but unless my home is being over run by zombies cuz the damn kid forgot to lock and barricade the doors, I think "aim small, miss small" works. Bandoliers, cartridge belts, & butt stock carriers add plenty of backup and sufficient training in "topping off" your lever to avoid having an empty gun builds one's confidence in this particular tool...not unlike a 12 gauge pump. Just my .02 cents. Great video and topic.

Both are great. If anyone only has one of these I highly recommended getting the other. Both should be on everyone’s top numerical list. As for me I’ll take the USP, no maybe the 226, umm probably USP. Ok whichever

My dumbass chose an Xcarry p320 over a USP EXPERT 9. I already have a USP 9. But that fucking expert is the most badass pistol.

Have you ever rode a horse?? If not, you're like Glenn Campbell's song " Rhinestone Cowboy"... & Glen Campbell knew how to ride a horse! I dont own a Henry Lever gun in any caliber.. but Ive been shooting my Winchester 94, longer than you've been alive & adjusting Buckhorn sites isnt that hard...start at the lowest ramp position, take 3 shots & adjust upward until you get the 3 shot group where you want it! The windage, might require a small punc & hammer to drift it in the dovetail, it just takes time & practice!

I use a winchester 9422 22lr loaded with cci 22long specialty rounds for my house in the suburbs!!!😊 There's a bazillion kids running around at any given moment and the houses are extremely close. So I figure that was a good choice to not wrry about over penetration! I also keep a few more powerful tools loaded and around. But hopefully since I can drive tacks with it at up to about 35 yards. So I figure a bunch of those shots all in or close to the same spot shield do the trick!! Great video! Lever guns are underrated! But great

This shocks me. I have that same rifle. I can cover a 40 yard group with the bottom of a coke can. At 100, the rifle groups the diameter of a coffee can, off hand.

Are you trolling us with that trigger pull? I shot the same saint victor and with basically the same sight and same ammo but with 62 grain and shot a 2 inch group at 100 yards. I think your trigger pull could use a lot of work. I notice sometimes its full finger in and sometimes its just the tip of the finger but you are slapping the trigger hard.

30 years ago, I bought the Ramline 18-rnd mags for my P226, and never had a problem with them. They were really cheap, compared to the factory mags, so I bought 20 of them. Still work flawlessly after all these years.

Have you had any problem with the meprolight night sites? have you had any problems with the way they fit in? I read a review on a website where a gentleman said. I believe it was the front did not fit correctly. Anyway, just curious.

Ummmm, sir, you don’t have to rack the slide on a reload with either of those guns, especially with the USP, which has an extended slide release that was specifically made for faster reloads.

Your front sight that they installed at the factory might have been too short, causing all your shots to go high. I had that problem only shooting way low with the Henry 4570. Henry told me the front sight was .50" and when I removed the sight it was marked and meadured. 580". I ordered and installed a .530" partridge sight from Skinner.

I own a number of USP in various caliber/configuration. My large hands allow me to use both thumb and index finger at same time for mag changes, super fast/positive. I feel the USP is the Gold Standard of auto loading pistols.

That's a very nice rifle in a great mulie and pronghorn cartridge! A buddy of mine bought the same rifle in 260 Rem from a gun seller in Lubbock who was selling firearms that were part of an estate sale. The rifle included a really nice Zeiss Conquest rifle scope, and he was able to purchase the set for less than $1,400. He worked up a load using 129 Hornady Interlocks and brass that came with the rifle and gets 5/8" groups at 2865 fps. He plans to use it to hunt pronghorn in Colorado this fall, and I am willing to bet it will more than do the job.

That is not a fair test since the USP Expert has a 5.2 inch barrel and the SIG P226 has a 4.4 inch barrel the sight radius and does make a major difference. I own a USP45 Expert and the P226 in every caliber 9mm, 40sw and 357sig with and without rails plus a couple of Mk25s. I also love my P220 10mm Legion which has a 5 inch barrel and would be a better contender to the USP45 Expert specially if the USP is loaded with 450 SMC ammo! :) FYI: Safariland does the 6005 and 6004 for the USP9/40 Expert I purchased the USP45 Expert Safariland 6004 tactical holster and it works great for training I also have the same rig for my SIGs.
