Heres the thing with the arguement of the events of Sonic 06 never happened.. paradox, if it never happened why does Silver still make appearances? Could it not be argued that Mephiles could come from another/alternate future and reform from Shadow, or even someone elses shade? - could even be his gimmick, he is the shade. The darkest malice in ones heart, the dark thoughts everyone has in the back of their mind, which would tie Shadow and himself together, since shadow is always questioning and doubting.

Prime should do a season 2 about time travel and silver would be nice.

Mephiles the Dark will always remain as the best villain in Sonic in my opinion. He was overshadowed (no pun intended) and hated because his only role as a villain was in 06. A rushed and poorly written game. Though even through all that Mephiles was the only villain to actually succeed in his plans and the only one to ever actually kill Sonic. He is one of the only well written things in 06. I will always defend him and a form of him will always remain in my writing.

Ehile I do like this video overall, there is one part I kind of disagree with, that being the time travel in Sonic 06 having no rules. While it is no outright stated, it seemed clear to me that the game, until the final story, was operating in a fixed timeline. This was especially the case in Shadow and Silver's story. Whenever a character went to the past their actions are directly responsible for other parts of the story. Shadow seals Mephiles and gives him that name which is why Mephiles remembers him in Kingdom Valley. Silver gave Elise the blue chaos emerald she later gives to Sonic. The only example I can think of that this doesn't obviously apply to is when Sonic goes back in time to Save Elise from the crashing Egg Carrier. But right after that he dies and she cries, unleashing Iblis. If not for the space time collapse from Mephiles and Iblis fusing this would have killed Elise, leading to the future Silver comes from

12:08 it would’ve been better if Tails is bitter towards Eggman cause of his shady background and feels like he’s onto something, and there’s subtle hints to Eggman’s betrayal and it makes Eggman being the final boss feel earned.

While it started really funny seeing the big tough badass being in silly situations it happened much too often, lead to it being too attached to him y’know

So, for the longest time, I thought that people hated the Sonic movie and I really didn’t understand why, but now I’m seeing video after video about people (for lack of a better word) glazing this franchise and now I realize, the Sonic movie, is the SECOND best movie of all time (in my opinion, please don’t kill me) I actually haven’t watched the second movie yet so when I do, it’ll probably take this spot
