There is a new Nightwish album released in September. There are a number of stand-out tracks you could add to your Finnish Friday, particularly "An Ocean of Strange Islands" and "Lanternlight". Cheers from Australia.

1st Timothy 4:1 "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;" This video proves we're in the last days....the latter times written about in the Bible.

Apart from the weather, midnite sun, longer dark hours Finland basically sounds like the life ive been living in Singapore : - yes we take off our shoes before entering the house - we bring our own bags to supermarkets - we have to weigh ourselves the items before payment - taxes are inclusive so we pay what we see the price on the shelves - yes our household are relatively small hence we call our apartment pigeon holes

God and God Only chooses who will be saved. In fact it was decided exclusively by God Himself, in eternity past. The bible makes it very clear that there is nothing good in us. There is none good, no not even one. No one that seeks God. We are all evil, vile and wicked, all of us. God decided based on His good intentions and sovereignty who would be saved. Chosen, Predestined, before the foundation of the world. Jesus said, You did not choose me, but I chose you! So to the lady in the video. You never left Christianity, you simply were never chosen by God to be in His family. Yes we preach the gospel, and we witness to all people, so but only the chosen will answer the call to salvation in Jesus. Only the called will answer the call to salvation in Jesus. Only those who have been predestined to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ will answer to our witnessing, and our evangelism. There are no humans ever seeking God.

Was a christian for 10 years. Nothing but guilt and shame and judgment, and the people I associated with in the church were the worse people I have ever known. Been christian free for 20 years now and I am still walking on clouds:).

I’m still friends with him through social media. He lived in it for at least a couple years after this videos was posted. He is married now and is living in a house. I feel like I can speak for him, as far as pros, would be being able to save a large amount of money each month. Also, the freedom to be able to move and go wherever his work sent him, or wherever he wanted to go. Thanks for watching!

I believe in tolerance. People have the right to choose what they choose to believe. Love is the answer. Peace. People can have religion in their lives but if they don't have love or tolerance in their hearts it is worthless. It is what inside of us that counts. It is that peaceful inside of us that keeps me calm and relaxed.

Wacken Open Air (W:O:A) is a large metal festival. It takes place in the small town of Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein, Northern Germany. The festival is organized annually during the first week of August. Since 2007, the festival has sold out every year. This means that Wacken Open Air can now count on more than 85,000 attendees (of which 10,000 are invited guests, villagers and volunteers). During that period, the number of bands grew from 70 to more than 170 spread over eight stages.

Allah ( the God Almighty ) said: * And know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children - like the example of spring after the rain, its vegetation pleases the Farmers; then it withers and you see it turning yellow; then it becomes dry chaff. And in the Hereafter is a severe punishment (For the infidels and the polytheists). And forgiveness from Allah and approval.( for the believers ). And the life of this world is not but the enjoyment of delusion.* (Quran)

Religion can be dangerous! In this world there are thousands of different Christian religions. It sounds like the church you attended was very controlling. The early church after Christ’s dearth did not preach nearly like your experience. I am so grateful that I am a member of the Catholic Church. We are taught that we are all good and that we can grow in the Lord. It was the one true church for over 1,000 years. Luther did start a new religion, the Lutheran religion. Before dying Luther did go back to the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church does not take the Bible literally. We also realize that Tradition, is very important part of our Salvation. Salvation is not sola Scriptural. Just maybe you did not have peace, love, and joy in your heart was because your religion sounds Celtic? So sorry you maybe found a Christian religion that used damnation, fear, and force rather than a Christian religion that preaches love, forgiveness, and peace and joy!

I've been looking at so called 'de-conversion' videos like yours and most of them seem to portray a very distorted picture of what Christian communities or 'church' is about and the way people apparently behave in them. Some of these just sound like horror stories! It gives me the picture that in America, there are many 'churches' that have some strange or poor behaviours, such as 'shunning' or some kind of 'manipulation' or using force of some kind or bullying towards people.....none of which I can say in my 40 years as a Christian, have I ever experienced in the churches I have been involved with. In my experience of churches, I have experienced some of the most kind and caring people, one can ever meet. Of course there are 'odd bods' aswell, and a few folk with rough edges that you occasionally meet, but you will find that in every place where there are people. So these stories I hear in these 'de-conversion' videos, are quite strange to me, as I've never experienced any of this kind thing.

It's the death thing that makes me doubt. I read about Lazarus in the Bible. Why isn't that miracle going on in hospitals, morgues, funeral home, or cemeteries? I have seen a lot of unfair deaths in my life, and they say it's God's will. I really get pissed off!!!

This world is perfect for what it is supposed to be. This is an "opportunity" planet. In this world there are people getting the chance to get themselves onto a better path using their free will only, if they try. In this world there are people finding out how they can Help GOD, by using only the characteristics of kindness and love. Everyone dies in this world because for an eternal human soul, this is only a temporary experience. If the world has no more help for the person then they leave.

"That's a frigging ultimatum!" xD Comparing a lifetime with "eternity" (of damnation), that is kinda true! I mean, it sure is a form of intimidation, as parents sometimes use towards kids to correct their behaviour (which to me is one of the signs that religion is a product of human evolution, not divinely inspired). But we are not responsible for how people are at their core, both for the existence of a (christian) god or no god at all. The most important part is staying/being authentic and above all being honest. That's the key that freed me from the shackles of christianity and religion/cults in general as a consequence. When the faith vanished after 30+ years, realizing what it really was, I felt really scared at first, but relatively soon felt free, peaceful, happier and more complete. Not to mention that I was judging myself and others waaaaaaaay less. That is part of the meaning of life imho.

There is no such thing as a person who is not religious. There is no such thing as a person who is neutral. Neutrality is a fallacy. So, what you get in these videos is people who still feel the need to give you their confession and how they think they have a better metaphysical definition of reality. If you went from heterodox Christianity to what you think is atheism then more than likely you are really a Neo-Platonist. Because authentic atheism doesn't believe in metaphysical realities at all. Western Christianity is pretty much a false expression of Christianity anyway. Its not surprising that a lot of people in Protestant or Evangelical Churches end up becoming atheists. Protestantism is an atheist factory.

Only thing I'd like to point out is that it's not "only chrsitianity" that has a lot of denominations. You brought up Buddhism, but Buddhism really does have a very wide array of interpretations not too dissimilar to Christianity. Knowing one Buddhist does not tell you too much about another Buddhist. Even more similar to christianity in this regard would be Islam which has a lot of variety to beliefs. They aren't called "denominations", but that's because denominations is a christian term to describe these differences rather than christianity being the only one to have these differences
