I think that even though it’s normal for most Finns to keep distance it can be hard on them because we as humans are social creatures and thrive with social interaction. The town name Kolari actually originates from the last name Kolari. There was a man named Pekka Kolari who moved from Savo to Lapland to a place that is now called Kolari in 1587 (mentioned in some old tax book). You should know that in Turku there is a place called 'Palli' and right next to it 'Pallivaha', translated as 'ball' (singular balls) and 'ball wax'. I've often wondered these place names myself, and I came to the conclusion that when the map names were stamped down, they likely were swedish academics (It took a long time and one Mikael Agricola to change, but for a long time Finnish Academic lingua was Swedish) going around asking people where they were and what was called what. Humorous Finns living a rough farming or logging or something life, far from the Lords making maps then had some fun.. ;-D And other thing is different accents, that can be like different languages when spoken, really old Saami-tribe words, etymology.. Her small talk was probably such sweat talk that Kimi watched at the camera with that face. For me it speaks loud and clear: 'This guy just 'needed' to barge in here, right?' Kimi is such an honestly straight forward guy he has little tolerance for the buzz around them unrelated to the real F1 driving. People have been laughing at that so much. Great correction that Finland does not belong to Scandinavia! I bet many Finns would argue you otherwise, but you are indeed correct.

That 'Finland doesn't exist' meme likely started because some folks couldn't believe all the good things happening in Finland ('How can that be? - No way...'). Jealousy is a strong motivator :)

No, it is invention of the Finns who feel the country is already too crowded and wish to discourage curious tourists from travelling there...

ATTN: WILDWOOD VAGABOND Where and How did you learn to speak Finish?? (Just by living there?) Came across your amazing personality originally on your "Darkside of Nomadic/RV road life", my second introduction to you was your "How to heal a Broken Heart" video, which because of my history, I could relate to. You're a beautiful soul- I grew up in Long Island NY- I was born in Phoenix, AZ and have done some traveling myself. I used to live in San Antonio, TX. Reach out sweet soul- Reply back. Would love to hear from you. You are truly inspiring! Thanks 😊

There was a problem arising from the Corona Virus regulation that people need to be at 2m (or 6f) distance. - Finns complained why they need to move so close to each other?!

Someone said that names are from Winter (cold) War in 1939-1940 when Finnish Soldiers told the place names for Sovient Soldiers

I don’t know if this has been already commented but! Why the finish cities, places, what ever have been named like that is cause... If I remember correctly it was swedish who sent a Person to draw a map of Finland when we were part of them (or Russia if I remember wrong). And Finnish playd practical jokes on the guy and told him wrong names 🤣 and they have been not chanced. Sorry about my bad English!

On Tissikukkulat (tit hills), the Grand Tetons (mountain range) in the U.S. state of Wyoming means "large nipples" in French!! It seems those early explorers had been away from women for far too long!! :oD en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Teton

I'm swedish and I have to say this. Finland is a part of scandinavia. It's one of the 3 nordic countries that the scandinavian mountainrange goes through. Denmark however is not a scandinavian country.
