All the bushings still looked in great shape. I'll change them all out in 30K-40K when I do this again. In fact I'll probably change it all out for hydraulic tensioners.

This is the one good thing about social media, I am 63 years old, and have been camping all my life starting out with the boy scouts. I have a 2004 Honda ST 1300, and I pull a 1987 travel lite two-person pop-up camper, and for some reason I have never seen a bread holder like that!!!... Maybe I've been living under a rock or something.. I need one LOL. Ride safe camp safe. Thanks for sharing.

Great set up. What's the weight of your trailer rig loaded up? We pull an Adventure Sport trailer behind our Ultra Classic and loaded with all camp gear we are around 450 lbs. Not sure if we wanna go any more than that although the GVW of trailer is 670 lbs. We are two up as well, we would like to put our two small e-bikes on a rack in the top as well, just curious how your bike does pulling your rig. Thanks

Thank you so much for this video Steve. I have been incredibly disappointed with so many navigation apps. Particularly with youtube tutorials that don't seem to explain what I want, or they don't program and function as advertised. Google maps is useless to plan a route for a motorcyclist - its like my wife making me go the way SHE wants, not the way I want. But so far this has worked beautifully. A couple of times the maps have added some roads I'm not interested in, but as long as it puts down the way I want to go, I'm happy - its like its giving me the way I want to go, but also puts in an alternative. I'm no tech head, but I followed all your instructions, and yep, Bob's your uncle (yes, I'm Aussie). Big test tomorrow, off on a 3 day ride through the mountains. Thanks for a great vid. And I'd love to be a Patreon, but I don't know what that means. Tom

Steve, thanks for sharing this. Recommend you give the free motorcycle app called DETECHT a try as it it has a web trip planner that automatically shows up on your phone. No need to export and import! It also can tell if you have a wreck and will automatically text your emergency contact with your location if you don’t acknowledge your phone within 30sec. There are some addition features and a premium version, but I believe you will really like it.

While it’s at max heat. So 6 to 7 hours from beginning. They fall apart. But you seer them some. My o my. Crock’m then bring them camping. Melt in your mouth good 😂 or do whatever you like

I was at my Harley Davidson dealership and they said because my 2004 road king has 40,000 miles on it that its time to replace the everything in the cam chest. They said i shouldn't reuse anything. They told me to get a kit from fueling. I was going to do it on the super cheap like you and even reues the push rods. He said at 40k cams, lifters, bearings and everything is ready to be replaced. I usually don't trust dealerships but they weren't trying to sell me anything. He told me not to buy Harley parts because they are more expensive and not as good. They weren't even trying to sell me on the labor for them to do it. He seems genuinely like he just wanted to give me some good advice.

Yeap trailer isn’t heavy enough so let’s tie stuff on top. 😂😂 I thought the 3 holes up to was drain holes. The swivel tow hitch is the right move. That ice chest isn’t big enough. Steve, you have a gift for simplicity when explaining "how to" information. Seeing the 'average guy' version of how to do this will help many accomplish this chore. People like to see the real version of DIY instead of some expert who flies through through the instructions and someone has to play the video back 398 times to see what is going on. No matter what engine it is, cam tensioners take a lot of pressure. Being that the tensioner is such an intricate part, especially with a twin cam motor, guys who sit at red lights revving the crap out of their engines don't realize what damage they are doing to them. Hey man, its good to see you on and posting videos again. Really hope you get to get back out there and start filing some camping and traveling. Best to you, bro.
