I’m having my glute medius tear repaired. It’s been torn for years… no sleep, nothing helps, and the injury is not supporting my hip replacement. As an athlete, this has been the most painful injury I’ve ever had. I’m sure it’s from wear and tear, but it never healed and only worsened over time I’m unable to cycle or do any long distance walking. I’m looking forward to being pain-free.

If you have pain, I don't recommend anyone taking pain shots to mask the pain. You end up using your elbow thinking its better, but you end up making things worse. Your body sends a pain signal for a reason. You just have to take it easy...

I've been dealing with Medial Tendinopathy/Itis/osis for two months (brought on from pull ups and climbing). Unfortunately its not improving. I've tried the exercises but its hard to determine the right load. I have a flex bar and have been doing eccentrics and isometrics with 5-10lbs. I just took a week off from any rehab or anything that might aggravate it (guitar and bike riding both bother it) and it got worse. From rest! So I guess I'll go back to rehab every day or two.

Wow thank you! I always assumed my front shoulder pain was bicep tendinitis, but these tests revealed that I have pain/weakness in my supraspinatus and subscapularis. After massaging and stretching those two muscles, I noticed a significant amount of relief!

Do you hold the Tylers twist in its most elongated position for 30 secs or is the hold at the very start?

great question - when starting, hold in loaded but wrist neutral to shortened (start position); as progress is made, can hold it further into the range/stretch

Had SEVERE peroneal tendonitis pain for 'months'! Tried this taping method before succumbing to the dreaded 'specialist visit' and amazingly, had relief immediately... After a month of taping (i'm afraid to stop) the pain is almost completely gone! Thank You !!!

Thank you for this information. Taking care of a parent under hospice care and I suddenly developed tennis elbow. My elbow is very spicy! I saw your other video about a wrist brace and dug one out of a drawer. Instant glorious pain relief with the wrist brace! I cannot leave the house for therapy so I’ve been trying to rehab myself with the therabar but this really irritated it again. My question is, should I wear the wrist brace for a week or so to get it to calm down and then ease back into the exercises you recommended? Or just work through the pain?

Thanks for watching! It's reasonable to give things a few days to calm down, but research in general is showing we can resume exercises sooner than we used to think, often within 2-3 days. That's be a place to start although the program should be done at a very gentle intensity when getting started and only build as things are improving. Good luck!

Thank you for making this video! I've been dealing with this pain for around 15 years. FINALLY today after having my pain blown off by several doctors, I got an MRI and it showed a severe tear here. I've done PT before ( not knowing what the ossue is) and it jusy made it worse. Got an injection and it didn't help. Many days I cannot walk at all because of it..literallycan'tuse my leg, not just from pain. I'll be seeing an orthopedic specialist and hopefully they can help.

Thanks. I'll give it a try. In my case it started when working out triceps with isolating exercises. I skipped the specific triceps exercises. But it often hurts (low-medium) after some other training as well.

My quad popped today, 400kg on a leg press rep 4 was like a fart in my left quad felt like I had been kneed the the thigh I’m unsure weather to keep moving it or to sit and do nothing with it.. massaging it help? I don’t care how much things hurt I just need to get back training fast

I’ve snapped both bones at the wrist as a child, had carpal tunnel release, I play racquetball/ping pong/pickleball 2-4 times a week, completely addicted to golf and I am a professional carpenter. My right arm hates me! It’s really been bothering me the last year or so and I’m going to use your methods in hopes of healing up.

Hey Doc, great exerise list. I have had this pain for over a year at this point due to overuse at the gym, it has gone down now and I have stopped wokring out exercises that hurt and only recovery and physi exercises now - but whenever I use my left arm it for just a bit like using my phone or keeping it at an angle the pain returns - this only happens to the elbow I had the tendonitis injury - when do you think this would be completely fixed or I would need surgery at the end of the day?

Had a acromion fracture along with with AC separation according to the X ray and my doctor, i was told that surgery is not necessary, but i am worry of future motion of my should, i wish to gain 100% movement of my shoulder. 10 days into a fall during skiing, and i still cant move my arm without feeling major pain.

Hello, pain is not illicited by these movements. However I have pain when im sitting at a desk, holding my phone so whenever im using the bicep muscles. Also holding my arms up and then internally rotating the shoulder towards the body also illicits pain in my upper humerus/anterior shoulder area. What could this be?
