needed this video, i've been binge watching self improvement videos and implementing the tactics in my life but some of them i have been reluctant to actually do so i over-consume content on it but avoid following through

I love the distinction you made between knowledge and wisdom. I've struggled with the actual application of knowledge. I do research upon research upon research because I'm afraid to fail. I'll start something and then stop because I feel like I don't know enough. Thank you for giving tangible steps on how to bridge the gap between knowing and doing. I'm not sure what I'm doing when it comes to starting my own brand/business but you've helped me realize that this feeling will follow as long as I continue to push towards your goals. So I should just start the work. Thank you!

Look I have challenge myself that I won’t have no social media for a year and I will use this time to nurture myself in and out I’m tired🙂 like we should be tired it’s really draining and exhausting a human being should not wake up in the morning and first thing sit start scrolling on their phones I sometimes feel really bad not been productive in the morning what if these people delete social media and it don’t have to exist anymore how would the world be? Nobody is going to use my attention again for financial gain I’m done!

You need to be okay with sucking at first; you'll allow yourself to perform as good as you are and not as good as you let yourself be," which is simply the step to self-improvement. ❤

You’re extremely mature for a young man! Everything you’ve said I completely agree with! I turned notifications off years ago. I also don’t keep FB and IG app on my phone I have to use the website lol which I’ve noticed I don’t really feel interested in checking. After mindless scrolling I just feel yucky. YT and my Pinterest is where it’s at to learn something new. I wish more people understood this. I hate going to dinner or places with friends only to look over at them scrolling.. they all look like zombies. I’m only 36 but man I wanna go back to the 90s and early 2000s

I convinced myself I needed a new iPhone bc of all of the writing I was going to do on notes. I have spend the last months decorating that ¨stoopid¨ phone and doing no writing I used to disregard pocket size notebooks thinking "who needs that?", now I know!

New subscriber here. Thanks for sharing this. Your title got me, I felt like I got caught doing something unlawful. lol. I was one of those person who fell into the self improvement hole. Jesus Christ I use to watch so many hrs of self improvement videos, ppl preachings about change your life in 24 hrs, 7 days, 21 days, all BS! . I use to save them by the dozen. It never helped, until I became intentional about meticulously changing life day by day. It took years. I had to do an introspection on my life, then have that self realization aspect of my life come to fruition. Now I am extreme careful of whom I listen to, when, where and why listening to these ppl. Now I am productive , seeing results and progressing daily. Slow progress is better than no progress. Delayed gratification over instant gratification. 😊❤

I'm personally not of faith, but my muslim friends are genuinely some of the most humble, accepting, and wise people in my life. Learning about islam has definitely helped me appreciate and implement a lot of the values I share with it in more day to day realistic ways. Respect(:

Easy fix to turn you "learning" into actual learning is taking notes on stuff you watch 😊

Thanks to this video I started to truly learn from the videos I watch, instead of giving myself the illusion of learning through passive listening. I started to watch the same videos multiple times, and recently I started to write mini essays (oddyseas has a video) and making mind maps (justin sung). And now I feel like I actually get things from videos 😊

I’ll say this man, I’ve overcome many HEAVY addictions to multitudes of drugs from caffeine and nicotine, to some more crazy shit I won’t name. But as a teen growing up in the 2015-2024 era, social media has been the most sneaky, gripping, addictive drug I’ve encountered in my life so far.
