I know I'm three years late, and I didn't want to say anything, but I've been watching you two since the 1st video of this game (I did subscribe)😊 But I have to say this. Y'all are the worst guessors of all time when it comes to this game🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣95% of your predictions were wrong😂 It was annoying at first but then became comical. Anyway, I'm a subscriber now, so I'll be watching other gameplays.👍

You didn't miss much - I basically said how I'd spent about 6 hours earning enough money to play mahjong, and built up to having 60k, which is funny given what happens at the start of the next chapter! I like the second option better. The games titled by the hero who did something extraodinary for his country. Meaning, to do something against all "reasonable" traditions Jin Sarkai had been taught all his life and break the rules to do the right thing. For that he sacrificed his honor and maybe of his family (depending on shogun). Sparing Lord Shimura means becoming the Ghost of Tsushima.

This show is a bit confusing. In the games Yumi doesn’t actually have a sister, Aiko is a completely new character. Also Miho is supposed to be Nishiki‘s sister, who in the games is called Yuko and of course we never actually meet her, but only hear her voice in one cut scene. I didn’t get she was the sister until the end of episode two. I fell like the show is more confusing to fans of the games than people who don’t know the original characters and story. I don’t necessarily mind they changed things, but I found myself expecting certain things to happen (no spoilers) and being confused when they didn’t end up happening.

Yeah it will probably be easier to watch it and try not to compare to the games because it definitely seems to be its own thing. Not 100% sold on it after 2 episodes but we’ll see!

Not so fun fact the building of the shangri-la at 25:10 was demolished soon after the game released. Because it became a meeting point for people to jump from the top off to unalive themselves. It was abandonned for a while as well.

For the reactions, I meant I enjoy your reactions to the combat and the stories(I also enjoy CrankyCaz's reactions the plot) Ad for been a good reader, I remember you been a pretty engaging reader in the Yakuza games in the past. Crankycaz, I would not blame if you if did not like the turn based game, because I prefer to control my own combat. I was against it as first, so much so that I did not play it for a while and just went to Lost Judgment. But, I have gotten into it and think it's fun now. I see the appeal now, because Kasuga is not as superhuman as Kiryu, and cannot tank through everybody like it's nothing, so it will require more strategy to play as him. Also, the cat was been so adorable. It was touching to see you guys pet it, even on stream. This was a good episode. I can tell you are a Capricorn, because you seem curious and observant. Horinouchi isn’t the governor he’s still part of the police, Adachi mentioned the governors crackdown on yakuza and they show Horinouchi leading the police,a lot of people think it means he’s the governor

U guyd should really rewatch s1 how see every scene Allicent has with her kids. Of course she never comforted her grieving son like Rhaenyra did with her 1st born. Rhaenyra adores and loves all her kids unconditionally.

The God's Eye is that huge lake by Harrenhal. It has an island with a bunch of Weirwood Trees in the middle making it look roughly like an eye from above - and in the faith of the Old Gods the Gods look through faces on the Weirwood Trees to see the world. I think Rhaenyra took Addam over Jace for two reasons: 1. Jace is her heir and it probably wouldn't be smart for both of them to go where there's a possible rebellion happening 2. Seasmoke is bigger than Vermax and has actually been to battle (even though I don't think he's fought other dragons) so if Daemon had actually attacked them Syrax and Seasmoke would have had better chances against Caraxes than Syrax and Vermax

Originally, the season 2 was going to be 10 episodes long but due to budget and the strike in the US they had to suddenly shortened it up to 8 episodes and you clearly see that this season was meant to be longer and was cut off. And yes season 3 has been confirmed and probably season 4 as well.

At this time - Rhaenyra and Blacks: *_Syrax, Caraxes, Vermax, Seasmoke, Moondancer_* , *_Vermithor_* and *_Silverwing'_* (And Tyraxes and Stormcloud which are babies) - Aegon and Greens have: *_Vhagar, Dreamfyre, Sunfyre?_* and *_Tessarion_* (and baby Shrykos) But that's all about to change too

I’m really glad that season 2 made Aegon a bit more complex and three dimensional. He’s not a one note spoilt brat. The way he’s interpreted here is as a kid who never got any love or discipline from either of his parents and his mother/grandfather only saw him as a pawn. Now, as an adult, he’s desperate for the affection and approval he never got growing up. This even extends to his own children, making sure they never go unloved like he did

So, about Hugh's mother: In the show (I think might be different in the book?) his mom is Saera Targaryen, one of King Jaehaerys and Queen Alysanne's daughters. Book-Saera was sent to the Silent Sisters (a convent) after a scandal involving three young men she'd all seduced - after a while she fled from there to Essos to first work in a Pleasure House and then later run her own. A few of her (bastard) sons actually showed up for the Great Council to try and claim the throne - I'd imagine Hugh wasn't one of them or they'd know who he was

Criston wasn’t being an asshole in the farewell scene with Alicent 😭 He awaited her blessing, despite their quarrel. She gave him a subtle nod and he gave another in turn before departing. Yeah he sucks but can’t exactly say he has no heart to speak of.

Nice reaction as always! Ulf the white, the guy at the tabern is actually related to both, Greens and Blacks. According to the show, he is the son of Daemon and Viserys I bastard brother. The mother of Daemon and Viserys died in childbirth. Her brother-husband Baelon, which we are told loved her, (allegedely) remained faithful to her deceased wife... but the book isnt to be believed as it's not 100% accurate accounts. So the show (probably with George's guidance) let us know he might have had a slip at some point.

Amazingly nothing beforehand and only the main spoiler super late in the game when we’d already realised it was going to happen because of events in the game, so our chat was pretty good!

TBH , it is a great series with yakuza element in it but the story and plot is not even close to the game at all , 1st. Kiryu join Yakuza world because he looks up to Kazama oyasan so high and want his life like his , being respect by many people 2nd. Kiryu do no even care about the title of Dragon at all , this statement explain in kiwami 2 3rd. If you watch 3 episode , majima so far is great but the way he lost his eye so wrong, he lost it by shimano not dojima , majima never be part of dojima family , and that time taiga saijima still in prison 4th. Aiko sawamura and yumi sawamura is the same person , miho backstory never explain in the game at all

1. That didn't change whatsoever. The person he looked up to still the same just in a different perspective and a twist. 2. You're using Kiwami 2, a story that set after the first game when he finally reflected on what his past. If he doesn't care, he would've told people to stop calling him that title. The problem with the game was that we never see the story on how he got the title itself. It's literally offscreen. 3. The Shimano Family was first established in 1985 as a subsidiary to the Dojima Family before it branched out on its own just like Kazama Family. That was literally the backstory in Y0 and 1.

@sixwings8278 1. The person Kiryu looked up to was literally revealed to be Kazama himself as he was the one that hold the title that Kiryu clamoring to. So what are you even talking about? You clearly didn't even watch the show and yet has the audacity to say it's wrong. 2. Did you play the game at all? Kiryu didn't get the title accidentally by beating up Shibusawa. He only mentioned the title during the last fight and that's pretty much it. Kiryu got the title in between Y0 and Y1 which happened offscreen. What do you mean he did not admit it? Kiryu literally introduced himself as Dojima no Ryu in the first game and admitted the title of Dragon of Dojima and Fourth Chairman in Y3. Don't accuse someone not playing the game when you don't even pay attention whatsoever. 3. What part of the show that you don't understand here? The show didn't want to complicated the hierachy by introducing multiple Family. Shimano Family literally originated from Dojima Family. The show streamlined it by not branching out Shimano Family. It's literally consistent within the show. So again, what are you even talking about?
