This is a wonderful video. I always found this episode to be supremely comfy and atmospheric, and very underrated. I don't blame Picard for enjoying immersing himself and relaxing in this program. I like having this on in the background while I study, it makes me feel like a true 1940s noir private eye.

This is so perfect. It's like hearing the heartbeat of a giant mechanical "mother" from the inside. So comforting. I can't sleep in silence, nor with too much random racket. This hits the sweet spot. I'd be a poor candidate to work under LaForge, as I'd always be falling asleep at the console, ha ha!

Why do all other Star Treks suck except original...next generstion and the movies? Is it the lack of a strong male captain? The woketty woke writing? The stupid writing? Bad Casting directors?( usually only the character actors are good ...the crew is horrible) What would it take to have a truly good show again? Like Bryan Cranston or someone good and famous to be the captain....and to have 4 or 5 seasons? Does it take Vince Gilligan? HBO? Netflix? Cbs and other networks just cant do it....That Piccard show was cringe....couldnt get beyond the first 2 episodes....and I love Patrick Stewart. Should I keep watching,?

Sweet when I need deep sleep.then it's a cabin in the woods with heavy rain thunder and lighting. Now for a light sleep, it's jungle sounds heavy monsoon weather with combat sounds! Lol.
