Interesting you brought up the blink-skill-dodge at the end there. I used to play a custom wave-based survival map where you could cast spells on the opposing side's heroes (who were very far away). There was a stun spell based on Thunder Hammer you could cast, but it also gave an indicator on the target when the spell was cast (a small lightning effect). If you were attentive nad reacted fast enough to this indicator, you could use Blink to avoid being stunned.

Biggest issue imo is the lack of appropriate report functions and enforcement thereafter. Afk'ers, insta leavers dropping MMR and Team killers are still a very real problem. The only options for reporting currently are bad btag and bad language. This a complete joke. Considering everyone's fully aware of the toxic players, huge miss.

Hey Grubb :) So I am the owner of original keys for the game ROC and TFT (from years ago). After all these updates I just had a small gap where I could join a new Bnet. Now I cant anymore. When I click to join the multiplayer option in order to join Bnet - I can hear a sound of windows popping up but I cant see anyyhing. Does it mean that I have to buy a updates version for 30 euro?

Bro, I just play undead, Ive always been a custom map player tbh, but undead is just so much nicer. dont haveto worry about lumber because ghouls, hell yeah. Base defence? Oh baby ziggurats kick ass. Abominations? Oh god yes, necromancer cripple? Yes. Dont need necrops for expos too, which is lovely. And dreadlord ultimate is just great, you dont need to be great with positioning or timing.

U r spot on the reason there is no Kane there is no story no reason to be in the game space as they did not set up the concept. CnC sets up the concept. Call to Arms sets up its concept. The new ones dont do any of this at worst and at best it is implied. Silica which I love has no reason to be dealing with bugs its like why mine with imminent death. Same issue with Starship troopers. It is too dumb i guess . Homeworld sets the concept and does it right just like desert of karacks. They make logical sense. Enough of my rant ❤😊

Rumors have ai is so developed that in 2025 you will be able to play against an ai player in Wc3 the rts. Ai will control all units and if you even believe thst: some say you might even have several ai difficulties to chose from. For me that's just science fiction but let's see.

Damn elitism, I hate ppl like this in life, work but what can you expect from from sad people who still play remake of 20 years old game who btw must rarely take a shower haha. Don't get me wrong, I used to play Starcraft 2 edition of Direct strike for couple of months at the time but I never grasp the idea of being mad at people in casual gaming environment. If you are good or aspire to be good you should win majority of time with below average players in your team or even support them in chat what to build. Did they ever fix the classic client for people who didn't buy reforged so that it works the way it used to before reforged came out? That's what I care the most about, since I never bought reforged.

With this new cool KZbin stats in stories, I have found that Grubby Talks is my most viewed channel, and not just that - I fall into 2% of the top watchers on this channel, watching x9 as much as an average viewer. Somehow surprisingly, though, I’m not really interested in Warcraft 3 2. What I would be interested to see, probably, - Warcraft 4, especially if it’s some reimagination of RTS, as wc3 was to wc2. It was huge. But let’s be honest, and humbly admit, Blizzard ain’t in a shape to do this right now. Hopes better stay dead. Not worth imagining.

The difference in those "upscaled" models is comically small 🤦‍♂ But super cool that some improvements have been made after all this time! What the game really needs is gameplay updates. They should hand it over to a community balance team, like happened with SC2 recently. Balance changes (or new content) are the lifeblood of games. It's what keeps the ideas and excitement flowing, as people think of ways to exploit whatever changes have occurred.

To be honest, the only ultimate ability which i would get at level 10 is the reanimate dead one. Now with the new changes about making those reanimated units not be completly imune to damage i'd reconsider.

I'd say, if one played WC2 before WC3 then it were orcs. If WC3 was first game - then humans.

Options, particularly very different options, add complexity. Means more memorization and makes the game less approachable, but adds the potential(not guarantee) for the game to be made more enjoyable. In a pvp game this can get somewhat exponential as each new option must be considered in combination with all previous options.

Just bought WC3: Reforged 2.0, happy to support Blizzard if they keep making what I want!

I object with the glaive thrower. It is a good late-rush unit that is well paired with tower rush tactic. I managed to win once that way against level 30 undead player in 1v1
