its crazy how many devs start with horror games, Horror is honestly the hardest genre to do while in, it requires everything to be paced so well. you can do it, but I think most devs should start with an action game that can more easily be carried by game play, or if a writter make a visual novel with sightly deeper gameplay. atleast I think this is horror it seems to lean in that direction, maybe it is action. also my advice to this dev would be, Every Player Input should Also trigger three thing (an Action, a relivent Sound effect, and Visual effect) not just one of each for example a GunShot should (Make the Player Face CameraForward - FireHitscan - Play fire Sould effect - Play Fire Animations and particles. ) then at the Impact point it should (apply damage value - play relvant impact should - and place impact effects and animations) they actulally did a pretty good job with that I only noticed a few times. anotherthing is the camera should be offset to the Right or Left by about 55 cm so the player can see better. for his next Project I would say he should Look at a game he Likes and try to Copy its charator Controller, making his charator can do everything that the charator in his game can do, and then having the camera feel comparable. Working from a reference is alot better for learning then working from scratch. I would recommed Picking a game that isnt too compex like resident evil or call of duty to copy the control and game feel from, remeber all because your game feels like a differernt one does not mean it has to play the same once you feel comfortable with the controller you can always add to it.

Lol at the reviews on steam. A few there saying its better than Cyberpunk, its GTA 6, its better than Saints Row. However all the positive reviews, nobody has played more than 8 hours, and most are 1 or 2 hours. 1 guy was so happy to complete the game (with 1 hour on record played). $14.50 Aussie dollars. Yeh nah, pass lol. There are better games for $2 on steam than this. YOu shouldnt be allowed to sell it, its a crime. Steam will put anything up, if they get a dollar from it.
