I love it. Full comment to follow! Still really like it. This one I’d buy and wear. Great review sir. Have a fantastic Xmas one and all. Let’s hope you found your grail watch under the tree this morning.

It's a great looking tool watch. I only wish it had drilled lugs.

That would of been the icing on the cake

Good review and video! I have never owned a Unimatic watch. I’m not a fan of how flat the case is and how that extends the lugs. I would have to try one on before I would ever buy one.

Thanks Jason I enjoyed reviewing this one, I really fancy one myself

I like the aesthetics and tool-y ruggedness of this watch, but it looks like it wears quite large because of how straight the lugs stick out from the case. If the lugs were angled down like e.g., on the Squale 1521 case, this watch would conform better to the wrist. This watch looks like it's perched high on top of the wrist because of the lug shape, and how far they pull the ends of the strap away from the wrist.

Good review. Reminds of Peren, Sinn, and even Ollech and Wajs watches. I reserve judgement. As I'm already invested in Sinn (UX/U50) I'm not too interested in this particular piece right now.

Ollech & Wajs is a brand I’d love to get into they are really cool ps cheers

It’s a Seiko quartz watch. How does it get away with Made in Italy?
@ClickSpringReview12 сағат бұрын
It does have a Seiko movement but thats it, Many German brands use Swiss movements but still have made in Germany on the dial

I don’t like their 22mm lug width usage, even when it doesn’t make sense. A 40mm and 41mm case does not belong on a 22mm lug width. They should offer fixed bars, since a lot of their designs are intended for straps. If they would make a 40mm case x 20mm lug with fixed bars, I’d be interested. My CWC RN300 quartz is preferred over this.

Interesting I would prefer 20mm but it's no deal breaker for me in fact I think it looks tougher for it, Fix bars I'm not a fan of as I like to swap around my leather straps. I like the movement in the unimatic as it has a more sweeping like to the second hand but doesn't have an EOL like the Ronda in CNC but is around £300 more expensive

I have a unimatic. it's too damn chunky and the lume sucks. all their designs are the same

I love the design and the thickness doesn't bother me Tommy

I have two Unimatic watches. Both automatic models. Not chunky at all, and never thought twice about the lume. Love them. Can't wait to get another.

These watches are insanely expensive for a quartz with no date. I can't see the justification for it.
@ClickSpringReview11 сағат бұрын
Really you think so a unique case design and bezel in a custom 360 degree protection system which has been tested to withstand MIL-STD-810H standard
@silkytp78911 сағат бұрын
@ClickSpringReview look I'm not criticizing your judgment, but for my sensibilities, between 400 and $1,000 for a quartz better bring something really unique to the table. Don't get me wrong, I love quartz and I am a huge citizen guy. But for no features... It's not my cuppa...
@ClickSpringReview8 сағат бұрын
Thats fair enough then, but I do like its sweeping second hand

For 100 pounds more the UT1-GMT has a Ronda quartz, date, and unique GMT window instead of a usual GMT scale and hand. Saves some clutter. I think of Unimatic as an Italian “art watch” brand, so you are paying a premium for the art, like Ferrari vs Ford. They also make a watch for NY Museum of Modern Art. But some buyers won’t appreciate the artistic sensibility.
