Tbh my entire thought process with like the F4 aside from one premium mig23ML the E,J and S do very well for the BR they are at, and it’s a damn shame they are typically doomed to 12.0 hell half the time. The C however is dog shit because of all the IR missiles you wish you could dodge, the E sure doesn’t have PD which I feel like for power creep is a damn shame but like it’s still a formidable aircraft to cut your teeth on, the skills definitely transferred over to the F14A

i love the f4c its fun to fly i get kills n all that, but i love it even more because 95% of the people flying it are brain dead so make for easy points

Tbh bro my Talismaned F-4E gets my grinding job done even nowadays and yes i bomb bases 4 AIM-9Js 4 AIM-7E-2s and 13 1000 pound bombs BUT if there’s more than 3 jets and I have no team nearby than time to put in that agile eagle And dude I’ve easily cocked in 30-50k RP from bombing 2 bases and getting a kill or 5 It’s a great plane and if your bases get stolen or if you need to dogfight you can dump those bombs pretty easily but the best situation is if you bomb 2 bases and get some kills

An F-4S player here, I was gifted the Phantom while I was grinding tier 6 so I’m trying to get better at fighting in it. I take 2 incendiary bombs to bomb one base, 5 sparrows, and 2 sidewinders. I think it is a fair compromise with good RP gains and decent skill gain. But, I have been dogfighting and I think I have gotten better since I started.

the early missiles were capable of hitting targets very consistently as they were tested extensively before being out into use, it was the lack of training in regards to the limitations of missiles that lead to so many misses. if you read over reports of misfires you see a clear trend. sometimes it was the missile, but the vast majority of the time, especially for american missiles, the weapon was launched outside of kill parameters

An aircraft that has landed is still a combatant, so targeting it with mavericks is not a war crime actually 🤓

Good video overall. But as far as my expirience goes if you try to pick your fights with f-4e or f-4j you will kill 1-2 planes and the there is no allies left anymore and 5-6 enemy planes coming for you - gl with that. If only american teams weren't so shit at high br or i wasn't forced in 16v16 all the time. Oh and aim-7f and f-4j radar provides some stupid shit situations even in a head on.
