I have to be taking crazy pills because while I wouldn’t have made the trade and I called it when it happened, I feel like 99% of fans would have a brain meltdown if they found out the Bucks refused to trade for Dame because of Jrue Holiday. It’s not moving on from Jrue, it’s just the chance to upgrade and get a top 3-5 PG in the league. 99% of teams would’ve done that trade twice over.

Luka is worshiped while his fat, lazy defense in the NBA finals was one of the most shocking things I've ever seen. I disagree that Giannis's closest shot to the championship was against the Miami Heat in 2020. It was actually against Toronto in 2019 during the ECF. Ironically, the Bucks would lose this series after being up 2-0 and losing 4 straight, similar to how they would upend the Suns in 2021. One wonders if the 2019 ECF was in the mind of both Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton when they tied up the NBA finals at 2-2. This Toronto fan was cheering for the Bucks to pull it off.

Lifelong Suns fan here in my mid 30's, this was painful but a great playoffs & Finals though. I didn't mind losing in the finals, but firing Monty & trading cp3 were both the opposite of what the team needed. Ayton quit on the team the next season, all the Suns had to do was trade Ayton. Monty was beloved by that team & cp3 as well, I've never been as hurt as when they traded Cp3, as he was the reason our team had the success it did, as he elevates every team he's ever played for. The KD, Book & Cp3 Suns tiny sample size we got in the 2023 playoffs was incredible, that Denver series was electric, Phx absolutely gave them a run for their money, almost every game was down to the wire. They traded cp3 and not only did we lose one of the best pg's to ever play, the game, we still to this day don't have a pg on our roster AND all we had to do to fix the problem is trade Ayton!
