TO THE PEOPLE OF YUGOSLAVIA, TO THE SERBS, THE CROATS AND THE SLOVENES, I SEND MY GREETINGS. You have been wantonly attacked by a ruthless and barbarous aggressor. Your capital has been bombed, your women and children brutally murdered. Our cities in England, too, have been bombed by the same insensate foe. Our women and children have been murdered. Our Sympathy for you therefore is heartfelt for we are sharing the same sufferings. But as we have faith in our victory, so we have faith in yours. Do not regret the staunch courage which has brought on you this furious onslaught. Your courage will shine out in the pages of history and will, too, reap a more immediate reward. Whatever you may lose in the present you have saved the future.

1:07:25 In Burt Lancaster's dreams LMAO!!!!! I love the old movies but they are hilarious all the old silver foxes that had big Hollywood names playing the leading man with a babe half their age. Some could pull it off but old pock fast Lancaster what a joke!!! I still love these old movies though.

These types of movies I miss the most. After 100+ years of movie magic, there are so many plot lines before the movies start to repeat.

I love these old movies where the strangers merely say 3 words to each other and then confess their love to one another..... " Darling, I am in love with you. Yes, i still need to barrow a cup of sugar " 😊
Strange the lyrics of the song foretold what was to come after............

There is no excuse for that kind of a torture any POW. But, Americans, you forgot that USA never declare war to North Vietnam and that Vietnam never attack USA. So, please, stop BS about that and confirm that you were just another agresors in Vietnam.

Well! All ye westerners must have had nostalgic memories of how you ruled India and damned the local population , haven't you? The utter manners that chap in the opening scene has on the road is to show the English ethics and gentlemanly behaviour! Apparently, the queen had the choicest thieves, looters, bandits and dacoits as her knights to fetch her the loot. No wonder they could pillage , what according to the new report, a 65+ trillion pounds worth of loot off of India. What a great queen and her nation! I am sure this post will be taken down pronto, but then YT is known for nothing else! Have copied this comment, just in case. There's no such thing as "freedom of speech", nor a thingy called "truth comes to the fore"!

What is an untouchable?
@PC-tz6rw5 күн бұрын
@@jackdeniston6150 who's asking? Would you like a literal meaning or do you need the logs unraveled? Untouchables were coined by the english colonizers. Because of the terrible islamic ( before) and english (later) run in an otherwise peaceful culture, they both managed to create divide in the classes they ruled. The lowest were those who were enslaved for sanitation. These people then carried several diseases from their captors . So naturally the "others" didn't want them around. After that, leprosy made the tag stick on to people, branded as untouchables.
