Omg you made it look so easy, it is NOT that fast and simple. There’s no way to get the old coil out without putting the bottle Jack between axle and frame, and the top nut of the shock is a BIT*H to get off mine was seized

Thank you for making these videos. I was wondering if you have any experience or videos where you are doing ferrocement repairs or any processes showing working in layers. Have you ever added cement details to an already cured segment? I'm working on sculptures right now that will require surface detailing and I'm stressing about how to do that if the intial coat takes a whole day to go on. Would adding a layer within a day or two technically be fine since it's not technically cured yet? Hoping you might have some advice.

Fantastic video! Great that you have done this as there's no other 'getting your hands dirty' others out there! I have one of these myself but it took a while in seeking one out with a good spray, as they're really all about that. I would recommend trying a clean to your own as the grime can be got out and the strands will separate much better when clean. I went for a long soak in a mild water/ bleach/detergent mix and I gently jiggled the spray in this occasionally. Then a gentle rinse was made, then it was long -soaked again in a much milder solution, followed by further rinsing. The last stage was to hang the spray, over several days, strands straight down to dry out and again I'd occasionally gently jiggle it as it dried. There were some strands which came loose, but I think this will occur no matter what method is used. Was it worth it...? Absolutely! The spray was now clean and clear with the light seeming to punch through to the strand ends much better and the spread of the spray only got better as I noted strands part much more evenly and continue to do so now that the spray was back in place. Sadly if a spray has suffered too much or never really was up to the mark it looks as if the only way to currently obtain a good replacement spray or spare spray is to find a lamp with one...
