the video is only partly correct . it's also the mentality that drivers have towards cyclists . In america a bicycle is a target or an obstacle in the path of the car . in places like Germany where there are also a lot of terrible and dangerous bike lanes , the opposite mentality towards cyclists exists . most drivers are very careful around bikes and are required to let bikes pass on the right while a car is attempting to turn right . this is insanely dangerous but not that many accidents occur compared to America . there is also the gear facto for german drivers in that they will lose their very expensive license if they strike a rider . i've encountered many situations where a cyclist is riding on a mountain road with a long line of cars behind . the driver generally wait patiently until it is safe to pass .

I've said on every critical TOTK video that I can't believe they had a broken masterword and a fuse mechanic and didn't put two and two together by having Link fuse materials to the Mastersword. Instead of memories just being memories, they could have also been incremental upgrades to the masterword making its damge go up overtime along with fusing. Therefore with 0 upgrades a Broken Mastersword with a Lynel horn will defuse after about 50% damage to the Lynel. Over time the more you upgrade your sword the more damage output you do with the fusion, so eventually 1 lynel horn will kill 1 lynel, then 1 horn can kill a lynel and survive another 50% against another, up until max damage where 1 lynel horn fused can kill 3 to 4 with just 1 horn. It will incentive using the horn, and you dont need to worry about losing your weapon. Such a simple fix that I can't believe they didn't think about it or if they did, didn't implement it.

I spent 25 years in Reno and will never go back. Vehicle on pedestrian killings happen all the time. I lost one friend and had two others have their life changed forever because of it. Reno is too car centered.

Drivers don't care about painted lines. I got hit by a pickup truck yesterday (14Jan) by a driver who paid zero attention to the fact that drivers are required to yield to cyclists. How do you expect drivers to care about bike lanes when they don't even care enough to check their side mirrors before they turn?

Not gonna lie, Id rather own a CRV then my current MDX. One day I was driving at Issaquah, and my mom owns a 4runner, and as I was going through the target, I saw a kid run accross the street. I was stopped before hand but I noticed because how high the 4runner sits up, if I was driving a 4runner, or really any truck, and I was moving... I probably would not have seen that kid. These big ass vehicles are scary and not for happy reasons.

I have had a driving licence since 1997 when I was 17. I have always said I will do my best to not own a car and so far, I have not owned a car. I decided to get a licence to allow me to do other things. I decided not to get a car because in my city parking is horrendous. Traffic is often congested. Cars are expensive to keep on the road. I think people are mad for spending 100,000 on a car.

Weapon breaking wouldn’t bother so much if the Master Sword was in your hand from the beginning of the game (even if needed upgrading) like every other Zelda game before BOTW. Also, bows and shields shouldn’t break.

I think an interesting way to fix the weapon breaking would've been the ability to reforge said weapon, so you still have to be careful what weapon you use an when but you wouldn't have to horde every weapon you come across. This would allow you to build a loadout that matches your play style since instead of losing a weapon permanently, it's just a temporary problem.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is always a weird one in my eyes, mainly for both the story's more darker tone and the more realistic character designs, prier to this, the only two The Legend of Zelda games that I played were The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and at that point I'm more use to the more cutis art-style and more comical moments of the story(before anyone ask, yes, I know that The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask also has a more darker story, but it was nothing then what The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess did). But when I look at The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, I just can't help but feel so off about it. I have been interested in replaying this game again, but now's not the time.

Majoras Mask is far darker and Twillight Princess doesnt look realistic put link or other characters from this Game in god of war 1 ps2 for example they would look off and cartoony. Its the lighting and the brown filter that made the game look "realistic"not really the graphics it still has an semi anime artstyle.
@augustbornone18 күн бұрын
@@marvinourokadij4179 I mean the art-style for Twilight Princess looks more out-of-place, and as for the later, at least in Majoras' Mask, you donlt have anyone getting shot at by an arrow or impaled in the chest by a sword like in Twilight Princess.
@marvinourokadij417918 күн бұрын
@@augustbornone Strictly speaking, in terms of cutscenes, MM is less brutal than Twilight Princess explains the games age rating, but it is far more mature in its themes and storytelling.Additionally, it’s a bit odd that Nintendo opted for a semi-anime, cartoony art style in Twilight Princess, especially considering that fans at the time were asking for something more realistic. One question would you have preferred if Nintendo had gone for a truly realistic art style God of War on the PS2?
@augustbornone18 күн бұрын
@@marvinourokadij4179 So Twilight Princess has a more Anime-like style, that could explain why the characters look more mature then their Ocarina of Time and Majoras' Mask counterparts.

@@augustbornone MM and OOT are also anime inspired but twllight princess did it better obviously because of better Hardware. One question would you have preferred if Nintendo had gone for a truly realistic art style for twillight princess like God of War on the PS2?

Finally beat this game so I could watch this video through. I actually like the sheer number of echoes you get, since in contrast to BotW and TotK there is a constant sense of progression and an abundance of extrinsic rewards for exploration. The combat gameplay loop reminded me a lot of those "Watch these 2 FromSoftware enemies/bosses fight each other" videos on youtube, which I found amusing. The ability to hotkey 3 different echoes like you can do with items in basically every 3D Zelda game would have gone a long way toward solving whatever issues I had with swapping. That said, I do think Swordfighter mode should have been replaced with the ability to control (certain) combat echoes. To go even further, they could have created a category of "defender" echoes that specifically carry/patrol/protect Zelda while she pilots the "combat" echoes. Then in the final dungeon you could swap between controlling Zelda and Link to solve puzzles and fight the final boss. Regardless, I had fun with EoW and I hope they keep playing around with different iterations of merging classic and modern Zelda. I think my favorite part of this game that I hope sticks around is the progressive open world, where you can access multiple dungeons in an order of your choice, and go nearly anywhere in the overworld right away, but you have to beat the first set of dungeons before the next set unlocks and the entire world undergoes changes as a result. Its exactly the kind of tiered dungeon system I was advocating for since playing BotW.

If I were to show someone interested in writing good stories, something like Majora's Mask, I think they would find a lot of merit in how the game manages to convey its themes and develop well-realized characters that force us to think, especially considering it was developed in such a short amount of time. Twilight Princess, on the other hand would fall short in these areas despite being more ambitious/epic and longer.

I actually believe in a more extreme stance. At this point, I believe that cars should never be prioritized and rarely even be allowed outside rural areas exclusively. Even at population densities as low as 385 per square mile, I do not believe in car centrism.

I just finished replaying Ocarina of Time and started up Twilight Princess. I played for a little while when it was released, but life events kept me from continuing. In the first few hours (right up to spending time as wolf Link), I kept feeling like I would rather play Ocarina of Time Again than this game. I’m not sure it’s Bad, but I just don’t feel any interest or immersion, so it’s nice to see a video for once that isn’t so positive.

Just finished Twilight Princess for the first time yesterday and struggled with how bad i felt about it. Had to do a search and see if anyone else felt the same to help me explain why. The comparisons to other games in the series give so much context to the expectation let down. TP was the least fun to play (worse than Skyword Sword lol). I hated the horse mechanics, the game was nothing but dungeons, and the plot just seemed to drag on and you got a sense that your work had little value. The Ganondorf battle was solid, the diversity of novelty in gameplay was great, and the puzzles were good... but it was ALOT of work and little play. When i finished it i felt exhausted and frustrated. The opposite of Wind Waker
