Glad to see that I'm not the only transit enthusiast who is also a Zelda fan! :) It was kind of a surprise though, I thought KZbin was glitching when I saw this video in my subscription feed.

I would have loved to see Zelda use the staff as a stun weapon. The menus could have had a favorites, all the ‘upgraded’ forms of enemies could have replaced previous forms in some cases, and there could have been an option in the menu to hide certain echoes from the list you scroll through. But in general i never found it too difficult to navigate. I found that i ended up forgetting which echoes i had more often though. So certain quests were like wtf do you want i don’t think I have that. And then i check and oh wait i do. I also 100% agree with you on the controls! I can’t tell you how many times i accidentally went into sword fighter mode when i wanted to call an echo.

Great video. I'm happy you're doing reviews on Zelda games cause your TOTK video really resonated with me on my feelings on that game. As for this game I pretty much agree, except for dungeons. While I appreciate traditional dungeons returning I still feel like they're a far cry from the dungeons we used to get in terms of design. I was hoping we'd get a unique echo for each dungeon that would replace a "traditional" item. A hookshot echo, or using echos that have a bow would have really gone a long way.

24:55 - wait, you can use the statues in that fight? No wonder it seemed 10x harder than it should be... I didn't think to do that.
