Is there a difference between timing the n47d20a and the n47d20c ? Because when you time the hpfp the crankshaftlockingtool wil lock the cranskhaft at 45degrees after or before tdc. But with Some other n47 engines they when they time the pump ,they lock the crankshaft at 11 degree after of before tdc!

With the later models f30s N4720c uses 11° it’s different from the earlier models N4720d that use 45° ATDC

We did this drive today as I had to see it for myself. Unreal. As we crossed the bridge it was way more overgrown that this so we didn’t carry on and turned around. We could have made it through as we have a Fortuner but it would have been slow going, and when my 5 year old daughter in the back said daddy I don’t like this anymore it made me think twice. Unreal how the quality of the road just stops. U can just feel the ANC as u go over that bridge.

We've got one with 3000 miles, sat for about 16 years. We turned it on about every 4-5 (everytime we moved storage places) years but this last time we started it maybe 5 times on and off to get it on and off the trailer and park it in to its new storage. Ran good but we tried to start it the next day just to move it a little bit and got a crank no start with the sound of valves slapping pistons. Verified with a borescope. Timing belt is still on but it must have skipped some teeth somehow when we turned it off. Because it ran fine before we shut it off. Maybe a tensioner failure but I'd play it safe and just do your belt and tensioner

As much as I agree that the ANC is destroying our country and that the DA is by far a better party to lead the country, this video is just a sad propaganda lie and I don’t understand why a DA supporter needs to stoop to misinformation to get his point across. The fact is that the EC side of the pass was closed many years ago and for that reason only has not been maintained.

Shocking, but the absolute truth. We lived in George for 10 years and it was always well run and maintained. When potholes appeared, they were fixed within days. Never allowed to turn into swimming pools.

A very powerful message. I would suggest that the commentary be translated into several languages, the impact would be far greater and wide spread. More videos contrasting achievements vs corruption would provide a very effective means of getting the message across to all tiers of our population.

My wife and I live in St.Francis bay and whenever we visit the Western Cape we would sarcastically say that we know when we are in the western cape the moment the road runs smooth. It really is like that at every cross over point from EC to WC.
