I’m writing this down just so I can go back and look at the written out instructions 1 - Control “a” to select everything 2 - click effects (top left) 3 - Hover over amplitude and compression 4 - click dynamics 5 - copy the autogate dynamics from his screen EXCEPT the threshold (it’s gonna be unique to ur voice, and you’re fixin’ to edit it) 6 - find where the maximum amplitude is located (dB) 7 - Go slightly below the maximum amplitude number (he chooses the closest lowest number evenly) I hope this helps me with recording. Thanks for your video!

It’s getting worse, my level 2 seller account got hacked and started sending numerous amount of messages to other sellers on fiverr, and it get banned. Fiverr support team is not responding as they should be they are saying you violated the TOS and you account will permanently banned after 60 days. And i’m not alone there are many other sellers who is facing the same issue right now. What should we do?? Can you help us highlighting the issue? I can provide more information regarding this matter You can understand how serious it is for a seller.

You can change some of the export settings in the batch process and add a prefix or suffix it uses the names for the files you made when you started the recordings.

Ive been doing VA for a while now (almost 7 years) and thru all that = the learning the listening the tweaking, messing up, doing it again, doing not as much etc - Clip A is the cheap vs clip b - theres more to clip b - punchier, crunchier, and crisper! Im also that kind of nerd that for WHATEVER reason - I can hear the difference between the USB mic and the much higher quality one - almost to the point of going 'was that a Yeti' - but also you did show it on camera. But you are right - even on the cheaper mic - the quality is still very passable specially to then grow from. Cus if you have a long standing client that allows you to build your skills and gear, they get to see the benefits of it AND you get to grow with them :D

Hey. Thank you! Do you know a way to delete deep breaths?
@GreybeardVoiceover8 ай бұрын
If they are super loud and go over the threshold this method might not work and you'd have to go through and delete (deamplify) them individually. I would recommend good breathing starts in the booth, breath control and looking slightly away from the mic will help and get easier over time.

I had a repeat client from New Zealand 🇳🇿 that was working with me on the same gig for 4 months straight! It was freaking GREAT! He disappeared for awhile. I’m not sure if he’ll ever come back or not, but repeat clients are the BEST.
@GreybeardVoiceover8 ай бұрын
You are absolutely right. Repeat clients are the absolute best, first because recurring sales just create a base of income you can rely on to some extent, but also because knowing what your client wants and being comfortable with them accepting the work with no issues takes so much work out of the equation.
@jaxbarnettprice8 ай бұрын
Yeah. They should have NO part in the Voiceover Industry. They basically sound synthetic, robotic and monotone. They have zero emotion in their words. Kinda baffles me some actually pay for A.I services on Fiverr. I mean, A.I can be good for some things, but it’s a problem when they could become a future threat to Voiceovers. It’s hard to believe that they would replace us in Voiceover, but the scary thing is they get more sophisticated and advanced each year. They get smarter and better. And it can be a little worrisome, no doubt about it! Plus, you’re one of the first people I’ve heard that talks about A.I VoiceOver being normalized on TikTok, KZbin and other social media. I’m not a fan of it myself. I’ve seen real creepy A.I videos where there is a human, but the A.I voice is on that human face talking and it just looks so weird.

Great video. I discovered Adobe Podcast, and that has cut down on my editing tremendously. I've been into VoiceOver since 2012, but only now searching for gigs. I'm auditioning like crazy on Acx and just got onto my first roster and was sent audition for what is looking like my first audiobook. I tell you what though, with all of this audiobook script reading I've been doing, it should be a breeze doing commercial ads when the opportunity presents itself. I already have a nice portfolio of them as demos. Fiverr and Upwork though, it seems impossible to get anything going. Upwork connect fees are insane. But, I'm going to make this work one way or another. It has to.

Generally no. Although it's a wide category that has all sorts of different mics, they generally have a warm tone that's sort of enhanced for live broadcasting. They're great for podcasts or streaming, but I wouldn't recommend them for voiceover.

I was correct. I though that clip A was cheaper, but I liked clip A better😊 I never thought of using a blanket! I'm gonna try that. Especially, after hearing how good it sounds next to the clip with good equipment. Is it possible to make a sound booth using room dividers? If so, does anything need to be attached to them?
