Thank you for the video, especially showing where to attach the sensor. Just an FYI...The software is now free! Thanks Specialized!!! And when you attach to your helmet, firmly hold the sensor to your helmet for 60 seconds to form a tight adhesion. Great product and great company!

Thanks for this video! Have you encountered any problems with this bb? Did you ride in dirty weather?
@DavidLashlieThatBikeGuy Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! Nope, no problems with the BB at all. I removed it recently to give it a check & grease - it’s in perfect condition. I ride in Rotorua frequently, which is gritty & volcanic.

great video, will be using it to convert muy son's riprock into a pro lol, thanks. one question though, why didn't you get presta valves?
@DavidLashlieThatBikeGuy Жыл бұрын
Hey Victor! Thanks for watching & commenting 👍🏼 I went with Schrader valves, because that’s the original size the rims accept. Presta valves would have required a whole lot more effort (if it’s even possible). Happy riding mate!

@DavidLashlieThatBikeGuy Жыл бұрын
Hey Jast, not 100% on the weight sorry bud. The bike is totally manageable for a wee rider. The way I look at it, if a bike is a little heavier, it helps your kiddo become a stronger rider 🙌🏼

@DavidLashlieThatBikeGuy Жыл бұрын
Hey Vinay, thanks for watching mate 👍🏼 I have a dyedbro protection kit on my top tube, but I still managed to take a chip out of the top tube in a crash. Short answer is try not to crash 😂
@VeloVinay Жыл бұрын
@@DavidLashlieThatBikeGuy oops. This is so weird that such a big company is not even thinking about it. Trek, Orbea are atleast addressing it. I am more worried about crashing only. For regular light flips, the protectiontape would do. Anyway thanks 🙏

I have heard other people say it doesn’t work inside the metal frame, the signals get blocked

How about a safe way to lock bikes on hitch mout bike rack? Recently had $10,000 worth of bikes stolen off a thule T2 pro hitch mount bike rack using their tiny cable lock that was part of the bike rack. It happened when traveling on the back of our car when stopped to do a thirty min hike where no bikes were allowed. Been thinking some way to rig up two beefy chain locks like Hiplok, kryptonite ect. I know no system is perfect. Just want to be able to leave them on the car for a few hours say at national park parking lot or the like. Bikes won't fit in the car with all our camping gear. Any ideas would be super helpful! Thank you in advance!
@DavidLashlieThatBikeGuy2 жыл бұрын
Man, that’s gutting! Sucks to hear that happened to you. I’d be going with the long hip lock as a minimum. Wrap all of the bikes together & perhaps to the rack itself with another one or two. I’d also go the ZLock ties on each wheel as well, to make it a pain for anyone who’s just taking an opportunity to swipe a bike or 2. There are alarm locks out there too. As I’ve suggested in another video, mounting an AirTag on your bike is a solid idea too. Hope this helps 👍🏼

Most thief do not have rare bb tool, and it is time consuming for thief to remove whole crank and bb just to access air tag… imo, if the thief hear the sound ? And he have no way of removing it in a timely matter? Most likely the thief will ditch the stolen bike…

I'm brand new to this, so pardon me. I just got this bike in 2022 model, what does the tape you described do? How do you like the stock saddle did you replace it?
@DavidLashlieThatBikeGuy2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question mate! Congratulations on picking up a sweet ride! The tape on the top tube is protection from minor scrapes & adds a bit of style to your bike. I kept the stock saddle, it works well for me. If you’re having any issues with it, go to your local Specialized dealer & get a Retul fit 👍🏼 Thanks for watching!
