Can i give mrcs after mbbs ? What's the pros and cons ?
@EkanshDebuka2 ай бұрын
Yes you can if you want - You would lack the clinical experience which comes in handy in the exam and passing it early doesn't really give you too many benefits either unless you are not planning to do a post grad and get into a job long term right after your MBBS. Hope this helps !!

sir, i am an indian mbbs doctor. If I complete FRCS cardiothoracic surgery can I do surgery in India with FRCS degree?
@EkanshDebuka2 ай бұрын
You are talking about something which is atleast 8 - 10 years in the future - A lot can and probably will change in that period of time - I would suggest go systematically in your training and if you do plan to work and live in India eventually - get atleast a MS surgery from India itself

To give the British frcs, do u need working experience from uk? Or working in india will also do?
@EkanshDebuka2 ай бұрын
The former - you need work ex and references from three FRCS qualified surgeons - often the hardest part of the application

Hello sir I want to pursue MS ortho being a female. I'm very interested in the sports medicine or sports injury sector. But I'm confused about the fact that I should pursue Ms ortho followed by specialization in sports injury OR I should pursue sports medicine itself? I Want to travel to places with the teams too!.... Also I'm.preparing for PLAB SO SHOULD IT BE DROM UK OR INDIA In summary UK/INDIA? MS ORTHO/ SPORTS MEDICINE? I'm female So... Is it good career path??

Major bullshitters. Mch is a waste of time. They just try to glorify everything. They had chat group for FRCS, which was utterly useless, the website also doesnt exist anymore.
@jamesdeen20729 ай бұрын
These guys are just trying to glorify a degree where you work as 1st yr PG and then a 2nd yr PG. The preference and teaching are given to their own traineess (UK PG). Along with the hefty fee your paying. Plus depending upon which trust you are working.

Got a question, after mrcs do you have to build a core surgical portfolio to get into training or you go straight to st3 after mrcs?
@EkanshDebuka9 ай бұрын
Yes there's a full requirements set along with an interview to get into training. MRCS is merely one of those requirements!!
