You’re going to miss that old girl. Let’s hope the new owner gives it as much love as you did. I’ve got a 1976 Spitfire her in the states . Total junk when I got it and 25 months of work to get it on the road. Now on 20 later and every time I think about sending it on , I get nostalgic about all the aggravating work and those also great trips. I’m attached somehow and it will stay we me for another 20 if I live that long

Will replace it with another classic that I can keep outside and use all year round. Want it to go to someone who can use and enjoy it more due to me having to store it away from my house

Looks like your static timing is set somewhere ATDC? I know my spit's timing is happy around 10 BTDC but I wouldn't know the specific's of your year/config. Definitely seems like the timing is off when you put revs to it though

I adjusted the timing to what it should be. Mine’s also 10 BTDC. Used a standard timing light. Didn’t sort it sadly. Has gone into the garage today.

you need to get the dashboard support brace (radio panel) back in! It's a fundamental part of the car's structural rigidity!
