I think UserBenchmark/3D Mark is usefull to compare the performance of your CPU/GPU to the same CPU/GPU, so you know how well your specific hardware is performing, as in looking up if you won or lost the silicon lottery. 3D Mark is great for dialing in an underclock (as overclocking is worth it with current hardware).

I felt the head explosion fizz this morning, i didnt get a cool outter body experience afterwards but what i did get was an appirition opening my door (i dont know if it was already open and my brain was just justifying it being open) and laughing at me in a really hushed way. It felt like it was going to go on forever. The oddest thing about it was i yawned like 30 minutes later after it had abruptly ended i got the fizzing and paralysis again (no appirition this time) and it lasted way shorter. It truely is one of the oddest sleep experiences ive ever had and this video was the first thing i thought about. Never going to sleep early and waking up early again.

I'm currently playing this game with my fiance and we are having a great time. Not sure if the AI has improved since 3 months ago when all these comments were made - they're definitely fast, maybe too fast, but I haven't been wallbanged and they haven't really managed to kill me more than a handful of times across the first 5 maps. What I'm really enjoying is the brutal envirionmental storytelling, it's gritty to the absolute max. And the sound is pretty damn incredible too. I'm finding myself wanting to pace our playthrough, there's only 18 maps and if we beat it too quickly I'll be sad as it's really a very special feeling game, at least to me.

Now AMD has become too expensive, but there is something good, the SteamDeck and Asus Rog Ally offer very similar APUs for a better price than 8xxxG AM5 series. It goes to show how bad the AMD marketing has become to charge almost double than what Steamdeck and Asus offer.

A problem I find is that even if you have data, interpreting it can go very wrong. Two of the channels mentioned, I'd tolerate for raw data but they spew nonsense when they start giving their opinion on things. If I'm generous, they can't be that stupid and are playing their core audience to stir the drama pot. At worst, they are ignorant of how the real world works and are trying to impose their distorted reality.

User benchmark is brilliant, who the hell goes on it to read the blurb on various components? The whole point as far as I’m concerned is to compare the performance of your PC with your specs to the average to make sure it is performing normally, and to also see what frames you’re likely to get based on your hardware if you’re looking to upgrade. It gives you vital information that could potentially save you a lot of money. Of course there’s gonna be shilling and advertising on there, that is the price of a free service, you just have to be smart and realise that’s what it is…
