Hello Vlad. At first I bought table tennis shoes but there came a time when my problems with both knees prohibited me from doing so. I have been using the Adidas Ultraboost for more than 5 years, which are tall and have excellent cushioning. I never sprained. What many parrots repeat about the fact that sneakers should be thin is a lie. It is a lie that you lose speed. If the player has correct leg mobility, no accidents will happen. Greetings and many more successes.

I am training and playing three times a week, between 4 to 6 hours at a time and without rest and my knees are perfect thanks to the cushioning of my shoes.

So Sorry that you go demonetized on KZbin. I also take a lot of small clips from WTT to match match analysis and discuss controversial topics in table tennis but so far the worst that has happened to me is copyright claims from WTT. A lot of my match analysis and discussion videos have copyright claims which means I am not monetized in a lot of them even if the video blows up but I should be grateful that I am not demonetized by KZbin yet. I can still monetize my videos so as long as there is no copyright issues. I also want to add that WTT are really enthusiastic in copyright claiming videos on my channel. A lot of my match highlights videos from long ago like feeder events from 6 months ago and even 2 years ago got copyrighted even though there was no issue for the entire 2 years period. Maybe WTT start noticing my channel and copyright claiming them. What makes me upset is that a lot of those match highlight videos are not upload by WTT themselves but they chose to claim the videos that I edited. But there's nothing much that can be done as they are the rightful owners of the clips. I am just glad I can still monetized in some of my videos 🤭 Anyways hope you success in remonetizing your KZbin and perform well in your new job. New subscriber here!😁

Luca uses a frictionless anti-spin rubber. In simple terms it reverses spin most of the time (similar to long pimples) but it has sponge so you can hit or push a little quicker with it if you choose to. This style of play has been around for decades (close to the table anti or long pimpled combination bat player). Some choppers also use it as part of their strategy so it's something most players should be familiar with. In this match Simon was not prepared as well as he could have been and the strategy was a little off. The Frenchmen definitely had the skills to win the match. A couple of ways he could have tweaked his approach: Just staying in the rally is not a bad idea, especially at the start of the match when you're not familiar with the rubber and the player but it has the disadvantage of making it easier for your opponent. One strategy is to look to play a really hard attack on the first shot so that Luca's percentages on getting balls back go down. You can't do this on every shot but when you have an opportunity you'll often win more points by playing hard instead of playing safe against this style of player. It was obvious Luca wanted to receive serves with his anti, running around his forehand to do it. Simon could take advantage of that by serving short way over on the forehand side thus opening up the table for a wide attack to the backhand. In rallies Simon could push wide to the backhand side (which would give him a topspin ball back) then look to attack wide to the forehand side forcing Luca to use his forehand giving Simon more regular balls to attack or counterattack against. To be good against this style of play you really need to practice against it regularly. It doesn't take a huge amount or practice to get familiar with playing against it. Kallberg demonstrates how to use this concept of attacking much harder when you get an opportunity in this video... kzbin.info/www/bejne/lXy6m2hmmL-HmKs

He might be one of the best in the world today. There would be players in China who use anti playing in the leagues there so there's a good chance there's someone good or even better. Definitely not the best ever. John Hilton from England won the European championship singles in 1980. Chai Zhenhua played for China and used anti. He was a gold medalist in the 83 world teams beating Waldner that year. He went on to become the Chinese coach. Lo Chen Tsung from Hong Kong made the semi finals of the world singles championships in 1985. There are others.

Harimoto woke up Fan Zhendong, he will be incredibly strong against Felix and in the final. Hugo does play far from the table but against Jang Woojing his short game was more than perfect. He has been focusing on his olimpic medal for a long time and I hope he gets it and wins against Truls. Then I hope Truls wins against Felix for bronce, France most likely will win bronce medal in the teams event and Truls surely deserves a medal after eliminating world n1 and carrying the incredible sweden legacy.

This year’s TT Olympics is the first one I’ve watched and it’s been hella crazy. No China final would be insane but I still think Fan Zhendong can get it done considering Felix’s close calls against both Lin Yun Ru and Ovtcharov. Then again Fan was pushed to the brink by Harimoto. If Fan Zhendong makes it past Felix I think he’ll beat Hugo. Otherwise Felix vs Hugo would be very interesting. Truls has played really well but from how I remember Wang Chuqin just choked and had a bad game against him. But anything can happen from what we’ve seen so far

Hey again Vlad, last video I asked about your equipment. I'd call myself a beginner/intermediate player. I currently have a setup of Rakza 7 1.8mm on backhand and Rakza 7 2.0mm on forehand and Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive as the blade. I really like the blade but want a bit more speed for both backhand and forehand. I was thinking of upgrading the sponge thickness to max on BH and FH but also considering other rubber options such as the Dignics series(e.g Dignics 09C forehand, Dignics 05 BH). Something to mention is that I quite like my current setup I just feel that it lacks a bit of speed to finish the points. What would you recommend in terms of progressing your equipment to match the development of technique that a player experiences as they gain more play time(I know that some coaches suggest a fast blade and max thickness rubbers from the get go). Would you first recommend to try to increase the thickness of the sponge before trying out other rubbers to minimize different variables changing at the same time?
