I grew up with a veeerrry complicated and difficult relationship with my parents, but things have gotten better and communication and seeing parents as people with their own traumas and fears helped me meet them in the middle. Danny the way you describe your mom is how my own mom still is. She even gets freaked out about me driving and doing things with my own friends despite me telling her I’m safe with them. Honestly she’s always been overprotective and worrying about every possible thing that could happen. I know how much she cares but sometimes it’s just suffocating dealing with her.

Hey, Danny. You're adorable! I have a couple of tips/suggestions. Cookies will spread so you don't need to fill in all the gaps. If your salt was actually coarse, it's not the best for baking. A fine ground salt is better because it will melt into your dough/batter and be fully incorporated. Very good to start slow with the mixer. (Side note: If you make something with powdered sugar, definitely start on the lowest setting. Or not, but your entire kitchen will be covered in powdered sugar.😉) Last thing, I'm not sure the middle of your cheesecake cooked all the way through. It's not a huge deal but there is eggs in it and you want them cooked thoroughly. You did a fantastic job and I'm super proud of you! It looked delicious!!!

I vividly remember at age eleven my grandma had bought a few boxes of the Pillsbury Halloween cookies as a treat for me and my brothers. It was around 10 at night when I had snuck into the kitchen and got some water. I figured since she had opened the box already she wouldn’t mind if I had eaten some of the cookie dough. Next thing I know I had drearily woke up, sweaty with a dry throat and the now empty box next to me on the living room couch. Danny! Hand mixer tip! To get the contents off of the beaters, hold the beaters in the bowl (make sure that the beaters are *not* IN the contents inside the bowl). Put the beaters on high speed. The contents will start flinging off the beaters, so try to keep the beaters on the inside of the bowl but *outside* of the excess content 👍🏻 Hope you see this for next time 😂

Hold the hand mixer with one hand on the handle with the mixy thingy’s facing away from you. Turn the mixer on low speed and slowly move it in a large circle around the bowl, turn up the speed and continue moving it in a circular motion until you achieve your preferred consistency.(this is how you use a hand mixer, but this comment was just for giggles)
