Excellent watches, I have one that lasted more than a year without a battery (model 0950467) and after putting one in it it has continued working perfectly. I highly recommend this brand.

I have the same watch! I received it from International Harvester in 2003 as a 30 year service reward! It had the same strap as yours! I just had the fourth strap installed at the jeweller shop today. Still running well! Thanks for the video! I lost the instructions years ago! Never used the alarm!.

Great review! It's so refreshing to find someone that truly values and is aware of the heritage and quality of Wenger watches. My first Swiss watch was a Wenger Attitude, it made me appreciate all the military heritage and solidified my love for field watches. I honestly think Wenger is the best value for money entry for Swiss watches, they do feel like a real watch unlike the plasticky swatches.

Your bet is to search for one on eBay using the model number. They're pretty rare now, but they're still out there. This was one that I was fixing for a friend, so I never actually owned it.

Late to the party, but here is my opinion. I can’t stand these companies that up charge for the fact that they are offering a resurrected brand. San Martin, Boderry, Sugess, Proxima, Steeldive, etc, are putting out models that compare or surpass in quality what these resurrected brands are offering at one third the price.

I don't disagree, but I would say that the quality is identical. They're often the exact same watches... meaning that the movements are all identical (only difference being usually an etched bridge or weight)... sometimes even the cases are the same. It's nice for people who like the idea of the history of the brand, even if it's being assembled in Hong Kong.

They're more common in France and greater Europe, to be sure, but they are an awesome "B-Lister" for Formula-1.

Hi! Great video! This watch is my travel mate for years now. Still couln't fugure out, how to set it up properly, so you vid was very helpful. Do you have a PDF version of that manual maybe? I can not find anything. Mine came without.
